I have been buying food from this market for over 20 years ,but unfortunately i stopped buying from this market because they keep rising the prices every month and they went to far after the pandemic started ,besides that the latino guy in charge of the meat section, developed a very bad attitude ,i don't know if it is because of the pandemic or what, but any thing that you ask ,it comes with a rude response ,on top of that they placed a sign for different types of meat and they supposedly are selling them by pound but actually they sell certain types of meat by piece and normally thoses pieces comes around 4 pounds ,so if you want to buy 1 pound they won't sell it ,this is the first time that i see a meat market selling the quantity that they decide what it fits better for them. They also sell some products with expired dates and sometimes they try to conceal the expiration date so you don't realized that product is already expired. If you bought a product and after you did ,you realized that it is expired and you go back to exchange it,they won't accept it,so before you buy any product i recommend you to check the expiration date. I hope they try to fix all this issues, thank you for...
Read moreSuspicious behavior! Came here to stock up on Brazilian products and try their meet market. At the check out counter , the cashier charged twice for the same product. I was paying attention and asked him to correct , which he did without even looking at the products. His whole atitude made me suspicious, so as soon as I got to the car I double checked my receipt and the items in my shopping bag. Only to find out that I was again double charged for something! I approached the cashier, who at this point was on the parking lot helping customers to park, and complained that there was another mistake at his charges. Without seeming surprised and without apology, he just took 2,50 dollars out of his wallet and payed me. I called the store to let them know it happened, but when I identified the man, the person on the phone told me he was the store owner. 😮be aware when you shop here and pay attention when...
Read moreGreat little spot to get your groceries, specially if you're looking for Argentinian, Brazilian, Uruguayan stuff, like yerba mate, dulce de leche, de guayaba, mandioca... ALL the stuff on the menu is GREAT!! The only 'bad' thing about it, is 'Cantinho Brasileiro' hours: Mon - Sat 10:00am - 4:00 pm to order the sandwiches and meals, and 10:00 am - 4 pm to order the appetizers (the store is open beyond those hours and days). Might not be the cheapest latin grocery market, but their stock and variety is great! Meats, sausages, veggies, soda drinks and juices, a bunch of items that will take you back to South America! Four parking spots at the front of the store, plus two for handicap, and free street...
