El Caney Meat Market — Local services in Los Angeles

The store is well-stocked, with a surprisingly diverse and excellent selection of produce, staple items, and beer!. I did notice some areas for improvement. While some meat and seafood were properly covered, I noticed some meat in an open plastic bag. I didn't see a thermometer to verify proper refrigeration temperatures. The small bakery offers all the Mexican favorites! One of the display doors was broken, exposing some of the baked goods😔. Hopefully, an oversight. I will support and shop this neighborhood...

Some of the cashiers are very helpful, even though it seems like a market because they are very gossipy, they talk a lot and take a long time to collect and the line is huge when there are a lot of customers. Except for one cashier (Lyn May), who wears so much makeup that it doesn't cover her bitterness, on many occasions she serves us in a very despotic and arrogant manner. It would be great if they removed this type of people who don't...
