GoodSkin is by far the BEST place in California to attain your anti-aging plan and services. They look at your face as a whole and educate you on what is going on underneath the skins surface [bone loss, jaw tightening pulling down your face, etc] and help you come up with a solid plan for combatting aging with their wide array of services. I had been receiving treatments at other places for years that only treated what I perceived to be a "problem area" without considering the rest of my face and what was causing that issue in the first place. I never had someone stop and explain to me why certain areas of my face were hallowing out, losing fat and sagging. After having a friend who always looks so much younger than her age recommend GoodSkin, I gave them a try and truly feel like the clock has been turned back on my face! Since going to GoodSkin, people always guess me to be 5 to 8 years younger than I really am thanks to the amazing work of Lauren and Lisa at GoodSkin. I moved to San Francisco 2.5 years ago but still come back to GoodSkin several times a year as I cannot find another place that knows how to care for and treat my skin as well as simultaneously support my facial structure as I age. I chose Lisa to help me with my facial/skin care needs many years ago and have been with her since. When she told me she was venturing out on her own... I was sooo excited because I knew that she would make this a place that would exceed all expectations! I cannot say enough about the entire staff at GoodSkin... from Bo who is constantly following up on after-care to Lauren and Alex who have become my dynamic-duo! I truly enjoy going to their office for my appointments as I am welcomed by a beautiful "spa-like" environment with not only a luxurious choice of beverage options to choose from but also an array of beauty products that I know have been chosen based on quality and relevance to the various clientele that Lisa has obtained over the years. I am ALWAYS being asked about my glowing skin and what I do to it because I simply do not look my age! I tell them about GoodSkin/Lisa's philosophy of the "untouched look" and how she has always given me the best advice on what I need for ME and not was is "trending" or popular with other people. I should start by saying that I am the least likely person to have become a dedicated Goodskin client. Before being introduced to the staff at Goodskin, I was not interested in anything that would alter my appearance in a way that could be perceived as unnatural or artificial. I work in finance, and most of my clients have known me for more than twenty years. Many of them would find it off-putting if I suddenly showed up with visible signs of cosmetic procedures. However, age and stress have been taking their toll on my physical appearance, noticeably in terms of fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. People began to say I looked tired or fatigued, even when I felt rested. After my first visit to Goodskin, there were noticeable changes in my appearance (especially the eyes and labial folds), but people only perceived that I looked rested and healthy, somehow rejuvenated, like returning from a very long vacation. During the past several months, I have received multiple treatments, and I don’t think that anyone in my business suspects. But the compliments keep pouring in! The best part of the experience is that Lisa and team have created a totally non-threatening and safe, intimate environment in which to practice their craft. I am very grateful for discovering Goodskin, and for their positive and beneficial impact on my appearance and life.
