It’s solid. Some of the best takeout sushi I’ve ever had. Right up there with Yama Sushi in Mar Vista and way better than Sugarfish, NowazaBar or KazuNori.
Their marketing game is a bit much though. The blue and white fancy bag, the napkins, the chopsticks, the bag that holds the chopsticks, the fancy containers, all of which have LA Sushi Co branding… I get it, but to me it’s just fluff for their boogie Brentwood clientele. Read moreFirst impression - incredibly expensive. I was in disbelief I just paid a kiosk (you order on a tablet) $60 for lunch, including a service fee. It’s an expensive piece of real estate and the cost of labor is high, got it. But there’s no table service or dine in option so pretty steep.
The sushi itself is fine, not good not bad but wouldn’t be something I’ll have again. If I’m in a quick pinch I’ll opt for the Whole Foods sushi next door and save $40.

I’m a huge fan of sushi and sometimes reluctant to get take-out but this place NAILED IT. I’m so glad this place exists. The sushi here is phenomenal.
