I've been to burger lounge before. I wanted a good grassfed burger and its exactly what I got. I am not sure exactly what kind of oils they use for the fries. With burgers at this price point I wonder if they can use beef tallow for cooking instead of whatever oils they currently use. May have to do an update once I find this out.
It seems they have a value menu special right now. A basic cheeseburger, vanilla shake, salad, chicken tenders all offered at $5 each. Two burgers for $10 seems like a great deal and it will fill you up. It was delicious and juicy. I got the cheeseburger, fries and shake and I enjoyed my meal. Service is great. The staff are kind and didn't rush me to make my order. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Its located in Brentwood right across from whole foods.
As for parking when you go on the weekend the parking structure is free on weekdays it probably costs a lot of money and street parking is available but its hard to find. The neighborhood is busy with a lot of people walking around. Great place to people watch and do your shopping. When you're craving a good burger stop by and give it a go. The bacon burger is also good.
After eating walking around the neighborhood will take about 30-40 minutes to slowly digest your food.
On a side note. The vanilla shake tastes great and if you have issues then avoid it. There is a rare place where I can get a really good raw milkshake. I will post about this later.
Seed oils, regeneratively raised beyond organic veggies and pasture raised rotationally grazed grassfed meats are really important to me. The best quality is what we should expect from the food being offered to us by establishments, as the baseline foundation. I aim to get as many of these requirements from the establishments I choose to support. Only one place actually offered this and you can find it in my other post.
Burger lounge offers grassfed beef. I appreciate it and it tastes good. For $5 you cant beat it. It takes a minute for the food to be served and thats ok with me. Enjoy!
Thanks for taking the time to read my review and for caring about your health and source of foods and expecting more from the food establishments we patronize. We need to do more and be conscious of how and where we choose to spend our hard earned money as part of our...
Read moreToday I am giving them 3 stars. At my most recent visit( this past Tuesday) I ordered a Paleo burger, large fries and a kids chicken strip meal with 3 extra strips. A friend and her son were accompanying us and ordered right after us. We sat down at a table indoors and waited about 25 mins for our food. However when the food came, my friend and her son's food came but mine and my son's did not arrive. We waited another 10 mins being patient. Then they started taking other orders. Thank goodness I asked for a copy of my order! When I brought it to their attention that my order never came, they tried to say they brought the order already. However the only thing we received was the child's drink for the kids meal. I showed them my receipt and even the person that took my order seemed dumbfounded. I waited while they figured out what happened on their end. After they discussed the receipt with the cooks, of whom had never even seen the order on the receipt ( I could hear the conversation as my table was near the register /kitchens.) Then someone came over and told us...We will make the meal however we will not charge you for it again,....I was like well I should hope not! Seeing as I never received the meal in the first place! We waited another 15 mins for the meal and at this point our guests had finished their meal! I was thourghly disappointed with the service and not even an apology was given. I believe my meal should have been comped as this was entirely their fault and the fact they so graciously we're not going to charge me again! Seriously not cool! Since we are frequently going to this establishment (weekly for a little over a year now)...at the very least they should have thrown in something as an apology. Also, be vigilant about cleaning up the tables after guests have left, sheesh! Do better please! I know you get busy at times, but no excuse to not be...
Read moreI've been trying for the three weeks since it opened to get in there, as I liked the sound of the concept and menu and it's just down the street, and I'd never tried any of their other locations. The problem is their register is about four feet from the door, so three people waiting to order constitute a line onto the street!
So, the grass-fed omega-3 burger is quite good, the meat generous in size, the sandwich overall good value, the fries excellent!
Service for a fast food joint was good, drinks in a plastic glass and refilled by the staff rather than a self-service fountain, buss-boys shouting "welcome" and "thanks for coming" as you enter and exit. Place has also been doing huge business since opening, well everyone in the neighborhood received generous coupons, I'm sure that helped, but I think they're working. It's a bit more concept than it is gourmet, we'll just have to see if this location stays this busy once the coupons run out.
Before making any final judgement I'll go back and try a few more items, as the crowd allows, but I am worried that this won't be easy. Wish they'd take the "lounge" part of their name at least a little bit seriously, and in the meantime they may fall victim to the old Yogi Berra saying, "Nobody goes there anymore, it's...
