Not worthy of one star! Gave this location another try after a bad experience 2 years ago. Used to frequent this Chin Chins for over twenty years. Went last night and waited 15 minutes before I finally got up and told manager in training Garrett that we had not been acknowledged whatsoever and we were ready to order. Finally David the waiter took our salad order and never returned or looked our way. Apparently Garrett took over and showed concern about our experience. Our soup was barely warm and my orange chicken was not cooked as requested. Sent it back and it came back exactly the same only in a smaller portion. I again told Garrett that my dinner was missing the cashews I requested and there were hardly any onions. The fried rice wad cold and peas still frozen, brown rice was cold too. I asked for caramelized vegetables and each time it came back the same and cold as if nothing was done at all. At this point my son had already completed his meal as I was still waiting for mine. I overheard a woman at the table next to us saying that her cashews were missing also and that she had been going to this location for 30 years and things have declined greatly. Garrett asked if I wanted to send back a third time, I was so frustrated that I just asked for take out boxes. He brought me a plate of raw onions and some cashews. (Picture attached) It was so insulting at this point!! . Perhaps they need more servers. This was a small dining room and the staff couldn't handle it. The carpet is absolutely filthy also! I see the repetitive copy paste response from management, yet nothing improves as others are saying the same. High prices, less quality and quantity. David is an awful server and should not be working in the food, customer service industry! Thank you Garrett for trying, but there is so much improvement needed...
Read moreA great spot on the west side, been there for years and never disappoints! I moved and had not been in years. Last night I pulled into their very tight parking area and parked in between two teslas which jammed their sedans into the ”compact” spots, thank goodness i was in a mini , that was so infuriating because tesla drivers are really so arrogant and entitled. I thought that was going to make us angry all night ! We went upstairs and were very happy to find the Chin Chin staff welcoming and offer us a quiet table , so I would not be recognized. I ordered for us my favorites and they did not disappoint. Chinese chicken salad (light on the crispies) was fresh and full of almonds and chicken and the sweet and salty spicy dressing was tasty and addictive! ! it was a big portion and was lovely. We ordered green beans and they were A Big and Beautiful portion and delicious! Also had the schezuan dumplings too. We were in and out of Chin Chin quickly and thankfully the Tesla drivers had both left and there were compact cars in the spaces now. MUCH BETTER! The whole chin chin experience was great and quick and gave us time to get to the movies with friends ! Oh and the free fortune cookie are delish ! I would definitely go back. the waiters were all very nice, respectful and professional. The food was fresh...

Now the food? Let me just say… everything slapped. The Garlic Chili Crisp Wontons hit that perfect balance of heat and umami — crispy, tender, and addictive. I could’ve eaten a bucket of those alone.
Then came the Dan Dan Noodles — rich, nutty, with just enough kick to make you pause mid-bite and go “wait, hold up — this is fire.”
The Mongolian Beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a bold, savory glaze that somehow managed to taste even better with every bite.
And of course, the OG Chinese Chicken Salad — crunchy, refreshing, and still undefeated. You can’t come to Chin Chin and not get this.
Honestly, it’s not just the food — it’s the energy. The place has a casual-cool vibe, but Pam elevated the whole experience. Give that woman a raise, a shoutout, a trophy — something.
We’ll be back. And we’ll be...
