Beeps Fast Food — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I've been coming here for years. Not any longer, and over something that shows the owner doesn't respect her customers.

She's closed to bathrooms from paying customers, can't even wash my hands.

After I ordered lunch today I got some syrup on my hand (was on the tabletop from a previous customer) I asked for the key to the bathroom and was told it's no longer for the public. "So how do I wash my hands from the mess on the table?" "There are some wet naps over there" pointing to the top of the trash can. And then staff didn't clean up the table, even after they dropped off my food and saw the mess was still there. "Yes, I know, we've just been busy." No, they weren't at all while I was there for an hour.

According to staff someone complained the bathroom wasn't handicapped accessible. So instead of the owner confirming she doesn't have to remodel it because it's grandfathered in, or be nice and move the sink so a wheelchair will fit, she did make the energy to confirm Beep's is small enough that a public bathroom isn't required and she closed it to her paying customers. I guess she doesn't have to pay to clean it?

Never has the place been known for it's fast service. Always been slow because they still have that grill from the 50's. Very small. Actually should have tried to preserve it as it was originally. Used to have coin operated tv's on every table. A juke box. Worked there washing dishes for the original owner, a guy named Bernie. When he sold the new owners kept the menu pretty much the same but just has a tacky greasy look to it now. Even a big old trash can full of grease you get to view when you park. They used to make donuts on the spot when ordered and I've never had a better donut then those. Shakes are great. They were know for the breakfast special but over priced it now. The parking sucks. No restroom. Think it's switched owners again. There used to be a JJ's market attached to it. The guy who owned that had some mafia issues. Placed bomb in Beeps restroom blew both places up pretty good. JJ's closed and thats when Beeps shoulda bought the entire lot behind. They can't expand with no parking. You want a $13.00 sandwich or cheeseburger meal and aren't in a hurry this place has the best food in the area. They need to for the cost...

Wow!! It had been a long time since I’ve been here!! And it still looks the same as it did while I was growing up and coming here in 80’ 90’ early 2000! Just now I have enough $ to buy Don’t have to decided should I get the fries or a shake? Lol that was the junior high/high school dilemma my friends and I would have coming here.. lots of times we would just pitch in and share the foods and drinks...

Anyway I recently came back here with my kids and grandson (which he is a fan of the mozzies!) and ordered the deluxe breakfast 🍳 🥞 man! That is a huge breakfast.... I tell you that could be shared by two people! Great value too!! One of my kids got a burger (first time eating there) and loved it!! We will definitely come me back here when we are in the valley.., just so I can reminisce my school days with my kids over fries and milk shakes... Thanks Beeps for making...
