Inspire Belmont Apartments (Echo Park) — Local services in Los Angeles

The management/quality of this building is abominable.

A brief statement of facts:

1. constant crime - there were numerous car break-ins in the garage and packages were routinely stolen

2. homeless/mentally ill people - the unhoused would break in and literally sleep on the community furniture or in the gym

3. the construction quality is rubbish - sound easily travels through floors into multiple apartments; the pool was out of commission for several months due to a leak into upper floor units; AIR POLLUTION from the freeway flows in through the air vents… a dank sulfur-like smell; there's a metro bus stop that serves as your morning alarm

4. customer service - constant rotation of associates: the stoner guy was “let go”, his immediate replacement lacked integrity and didn't last too long, and his replacement had no business being in a customer-facing role

5. lack of community - due to short-term rentals all types of people are coming and going… partying

6. OIL wildcatting land - do some research, this building was built on land that was once the largest oil wildcatting area in LA which means wells were not necessarily capped following best practices and there are still active wells down the street

7. returning your deposit on time or at all - you can skim some of the other reviews and form an opinion on management’s standard operating procedures that other tenets have experienced. All I will say is that the other reviews have validity

8. fake reviews - some of the more positive reviews have no or minimal review history which usually means that they are fake and were paid for to manipulate the overall...

I recently toured this property and aside from it being absolutely gorgeous, the staff was so amazing and informative! The amenities this property offers are crazy! There's a gym with free weights, a dog run, pet spa, a rooftop deck with 360 views of DTLA, Griffith, the Hollywood sign, there's a huge big screen hooked up to an iPad. Lots of lounge seating, your able to reserve the space free of charge if your a resident, who does that?! When I went the jacuzzi/pool was under construction but is expected to be completed soon. There's artwork everywhere you look-all local LA artists. There are a ton of floor plans, wifi in all the common areas, parcel service for amazon, ups, FedEx etc. it's new construction and unfortunately my roommate situation fell through but I will definitely be applying once I sort that out. Apparently it's under new management-and I have to say the customer service was beyond what I was expecting, especially here in LA. This one is too...

I made a really good choice choosing this complex for my first ever apartment. Diego, and leasing were really flexible and patient with any questions or concerns I had. The day I moved in, I was willingly offered help by maintenance to move my things into my unit. Robert and Edgar the maintenance team, have been super kind and caring ! I’m actually really grateful, considering this to be my first experience on my own in an apartment. I also really love the buildings amenities, the gym is always kept clean, the rooftop view is beautiful, I like the dog friendly features for my pup, and the apartment complex in itself is quite.
