I was really looking forward to a relaxing mani-pedi on Thursday afternoon — especially after seeing the salon’s amazing 4.9-star reviews. The staff was polite, and the space seemed clean and welcoming at first, but unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations. Without any heads-up, they began my manicure and pedicure at the same time. I was hoping to unwind, but instead found myself in an awkward position that prevented me from turning on the massage chair. It felt overstimulating rather than soothing. I gently expressed this, but sadly my concerns weren’t really acknowledged. The service was very quick — everything was done in about 15 minutes, with no real soak, soap (which was shocking), or even the brief massage that other salons typically offer- it was a quick dry rub. I noticed that other guests were offered drinks, but I wasn’t, which left me feeling a little overlooked. I was also asked to sit for over 30 minutes afterward to let my nails dry, only to find out they don’t have drying fans or the drying spray or the ability to wrap my feet in plastic wrap like other salons do. I had specifically asked for my hand nails to be evened out, but was told they’d "look fine" with polish — they don’t :( They're super uneven. And unfortunately, the polish chipped almost immediately. I took photos and have attached because it was honestly disappointing, especially since I had them done for Mother’s Day weekend. I would also like to mention that it was not busy and they never expressed to me that they had other appointments and were "fitting me in" as a favor. I really wanted to love this place and can see why others might have had a better experience. But mine felt rushed, impersonal, and ultimately not worth the price. I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it’s intended — because with a little more attention to care and communication, this salon could truly live up to its reputation.

My friend and I came in to get our nails done and it was by far not what I expected. We were next up to get our nails done and they only took my friend at first since she was getting a mani-pedi. Another customer comes in after us and they take her instead while I’m left waiting to get my nails done for almost 2 hours. When we left it was 2 hours and 30 minutes after walking in. My nails took 30 minutes in total while they kept stopping and starting my friends nails. By the time mine were getting started my friend was getting her top coat on and the nail artist I had was being very aggressive with my hands and rushed. My friends nails were done all nicely while I left with jagged nails and the underside not even smooth. Only one hand looked relatively smooth and nice. Paid 85 dollars for nails that came out badly. Wont ever be going back.

I visited Luchic Nails Bar on Melrose again today for a manicure, and it was another amazing experience! Nina, who had previously done my gel manicure that lasted an entire month, was absolutely fantastic once again. She’s incredibly skilled, meticulous, and works so quickly while still delivering perfection. I truly appreciate how clean, quiet, and polite she is—it makes the experience so relaxing. A special shoutout to the beautiful girl at the front desk, who was extremely nice and attentive from the moment I walked in. Her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel instantly welcome. Overall, I’m beyond happy with my visit. The service is consistently top-notch, and the salon atmosphere is always chic and inviting. If you’re looking for impeccable nail care and wonderful customer service, I can’t recommend Luchic Nails Bar enough!

I sent a message to this nail salon on IG hoping to rectify this privately, but was completely ignored - so here it goes. My manicure was awful - I said something at the time because any other time my nails are done they are buffed & shiny. The surface of my nails were totally scratched up and I was told “this is the buff.” It wasn’t - it seemed as though they were in a rush to get to the next client. Instead a clear coat was tossed on to try and hide the scratched surface. I was so aggravated at the time I just wanted to leave, but reflecting on it I can’t believe I spent $63 on such poor work when I can get the same service done at Lush nails for $40 and actually get a good manicure. Today, on vacation - I got my next manicure. The nail technician was appalled by the condition of my nails - she said let me guess someone tried to use a drill on you for a manicure? I said yes! To which she said this was done by someone who had no idea what they were doing & actually could have potentially damaged my nails permanently. DO NOT go here - they just...

I recently had my very first manicure experience at LuChic Nails Bar and I'm absolutely thrilled with the outcome. As a man, I was initially unsure about trying this, but the accommodating and LGBTQ-friendly atmosphere immediately put me at ease. They welcomed my boyfriend and me as walk-ins with open arms.

The skilled technicians did an amazing job with my manicure and gel color – the result was simply stunning. Having struggled with nail-biting, this was a significant step for me, and the results were so impressive that I'm confident I won't revert to old habits. What's more, the reasonable pricing makes this top-notch experience even better.

LuChic Nails Bar not only provides exceptional service but also fosters a warm and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of their gender or orientation. My first visit was beyond satisfying, and I'm already looking forward to returning. For a fantastic manicure experience that's LGBTQ-friendly, I wholeheartedly recommend...
