Fika Fika Coffee & Creamery — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Enjoying my 'fika moment' at Fikafika on this veteran day! Yep, time to slow down, seize the moment and just be grateful. The cutesy baby pink colored space with touch of plants decoration surely was in sync. Coming for the Yelp Elite experience, but actually not my first time to Fikafika. Been a fan of both their coffee and tea based drinks as well as their gelato.

I mostly went for their Ube Latte, but this time I gave the Tabby Brown Sugar Latte a try as recommended by the barista for those fancied sweetened coffee. It's nice they asked for beans preference, either the Fika which was bolder but less acidic notes or the Mellow which was the contrary. Opted for the first one, just like how I loved my coffee to be. Another drink from Fikafika to love, coming with just right sweetness level, besides I've always been a fan of brown sugar in my coffee. I did go for their Mochi Paw Cake, which reminded me of either Japanese Taiyaki or Korean Manjoo given the chewy mochi-alike texture, deliciously baked like a waffle. They came in either portion of 3 or 5, and you could pick and mix any flavors you liked for the filling; from custard, red bean, Nutella, matcha, and ube. My pick was the last three, all of which were yummy, though TBH I would love more filling in the paw cake. Texture and taste wise they were nonetheless slapping, especially given they're freshly baked to order and...

Fika in Swedish means “a moment to slow down and appreciate the good things in life,” and @fikafikacoffee and @fikafika.creamery, that also means enjoying the sweetest and cutest treats you can get your hands (and kitty paws) on while taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind👩🏻‍💻

Fika Fika has multiple locations across SoCal and I was fortunate enough to visit the Fairfax one, which also had ice cream that was freshly churned on premise! ✨I really can’t think of anything better to enjoy on a work break than Coffee, Mochi Paws, & Ice Cream✨

Fika Fika just opened up their newest location in Los Angeles! This Fairfax location has a cute LA coffee shop and creamery vibe to it, which is perfect to stop by for a cup of coffee or ice cream and catch up with a friend!

The Mochi Paw Cakes is a must try! These cute little paw cakes remind me of my childhood wheel cakes and taiyaki, which is why I'm a huge fan of them! The paw cakes come in three flavors: ube, custard and Nutella! My favorite is the custard 🥰
