MCM Property Management - Proudly putting profit's before people with pleasure and pride for more than 25 years! MCM became the new property management company for the apartment complex I live in June 1st, 2023. There are Toxic intrusive awful narcissistic neighbor's in the apartment above mine who violate my privacy, my personal space, and human dignity on a pretty much daily basis since I first moved in June 2022. When MCM Property management had come on board I had hope that they would deal with this Toxic and unlawful tenant on tenant harassment not only because it is their job they are paid to do - it is also mandate under federal law and the fair housing act. I had hope they would be empathic, caring, mindful human being's like myself. I was wrong to have any faith or hope in this management company at all. I have written and filed more than 150 complant's about the Toxic tenant's in apartment above mine and their non-stop harassment and violation of my right's with their company name on the header of each page if those complaint's. MCM does not care. I tried seeking a restraining order against those Toxic tenant's. MCM does not care. I took MCM to small claim's court to try and get some compensation for the hardship and pain I have endured due to their Breach of Contract, Dereliction of Duty, Negligence and refusal to do their job as mandated in The Federal Fair Housing Act - Tenant on Tenant Harassment clause. MCM does not care. almost 2 years since MCM came on board as property management and they ignore me, act like I don't exist, allow and enable the Toxic tenant's to continue their harassment unabated with9ut any repercussions or consequences whatsoever. They do not deserve the 140 dollar rent increase they got at the beginning of this year as far as I am concerned. I am upset and outraged at how snobby, stuck up, greedy, self serving, and absolutely ignorant MCM Property Management is. Their previous office was located on the top 5th floor penthouse - now MCM has moved to a new 8th top floor penthouse building a few blocks down the street. Read moreI don't even know where to begin. I've moved around quite a bit and dealt with my fair share of landlords as a result. None have been as incompetent as MCM. Maintenance requests were turned around within a couple days in my first couple months there. Fine. Jesse himself took care of one of them. The real fun started when they decided to replace the water pipes. We would get handwritten notes taped to our doors the night before telling us that water would be turned off the next day from 8-5. Ok, fine. Not ideal but I'll deal. But what I couldn't tolerate was the water coming out in trickles even outside of these business hours. The water was either freezing hot or freezing cold. I would have to go to my gym to shower before work. I submit maintenance requests for them to look at my shower to see if they can do anything, and they always said that it would be better "tomorrow," but tomorrow never came. I called Barbara to tell her I would like to break my lease on the grounds that they were not upholding their end of the lease agreement (I mean we should at least have running shower water outside of business hours), and she was at first very angry and rude, and then agreed to decrease my rent. I followed up to see how much they would reduce my rent by, and I never heard back. I didn't bother to follow up with them because my lease was almost up. And to top it all off, they definitely had a termite infestation in the building. There were termites coming out of my faucets. My windows would be black with crawling termites. I called them to let them know, and they said they would check on it. Not sure what ever came of it, but knowing them...probably absolutely nothing. Since the day I moved in I counted down the days I could start looking for a new apartment. Writing this review now because I saw a couple of their signs up in LA and I want to warn off prospective renters.

Read moreThis company has the worst experience to offer. I attempted to lease an apartment after an open house. I requested an application and received no follow up response.
I attempted again through the office but no one answers the phone, voicemail, or they bounce you through the phone directory. I guess they don't want business. I had to keep inquiring until today when my email was finally replied to by Jesse Pimentel.
Instead of putting in any effort I received a breif cookie cut response saying it was already leased to another applicant. I didn't even get an application. The apartment wasn't even listed on the website yet. They could have saved us both effort if they had just told me it had been taken. I suspect they already had a person in mind.
Why even bother with a second showing if you're not even going to consider all applicants?
Jesse didn't even address the other points in my email. Very unsympathetic or dim, in my opinion. Is this the image this company wants project? I have a less painful time at the dentist.
I thanked Jesse for finally responding and said I would use Westside Rentals for a more professional experience next time. Attached is his response. I'm sorry, but 4+ years of education makes me sure that's sarcasm.

No, REALLY?!?? They have a significant amount of properties/listings because they do their job.
You could have left it be, Jesse. But you had to soil it with your ego-saving response. I was upset before but now I'm never using this company again. And I'm telling everyone I can of the petty, pedantic service I received.
