Attempted to buy a combo that includes the drink but their soft drink machine does not distribute the syrup and water correctly for the fruit punch. This has been a problems for more than a year. I asked why they will not fix machine and I was told by the assistant manage that it is Coke’s fault because they supply and service machine. I acknowledged that fact but simply and repeatedly stated Coke did not sell me the fruit punch but rather El Pollo Loco did and that is who I am dissatisfied with. Again Coke was blamed and only this time the assistant manager began talking to the ceiling (yes the ceiling). He then informs me that I am being recorded, to which I reply that is ok to illegally record me (if indeed that was true and not the tactic of a employee trying to not be accountable for poor service). Truth be told I have reported the soft drink issues several times and it does not change. However, I learned that if you are expecting your meals from this El Pollo Loco to be made in a responsible and accountable manner (the very thing they mention in their mission statement), do not come here. He was constantly interrupting me when I was trying to place an order and would not apologize for his rude behavior when I brought it to his attention.
