After being ignored upon trying to place a To Go order, I was finally acknowledged and my order was taken by the cashier. She told me my total and I gave her my credit card. She swiped it and told me it was Approved but no paper printed out. Instead of checking to make sure the machine had paper, she just swiped my card again without asking me and again it said Approved. She tried to swipe it again before I stopped her and told her to just try my debit card which I handed to her and she swiped. It also said Approved and she then tried to swipe it again before I stopped her and told her to please check to make sure that there was paper in the machine. She finally listened to me and check...surprise no paper. She loaded the machine and my receipt printed from my debit card swipe which I signed. Nothing else printed so she told me to check my credit card online to see if it did indeed go through. It did and when I told her she gave me some excuse about the manager not being there so I gave her my information to have him call me. I had to call because he was either not told to call me or had thought it wasn't important. He gave me the run around after I told him what had happened which he said was not what his cashier had told him initially. I'm still disputing the fraudulent charges on my credit card after his cashier continues to cover herself by not giving him the correct information. Terrible customer service. I won't be going back and the food wasn't worth the...

Five-Star Experience at Sushi Eyaki!

I’ve visited Sushi Eyaki twice now, and both experiences were absolutely fantastic! During my first visit, I tried the Dynamite Roll and the Bruce Roll—both were delicious, but the Dynamite Roll, which is baked, truly stood out with its rich flavor and perfect texture.

I went back again today and couldn’t resist ordering the Dynamite Roll a second time—it was just as amazing! I also tried the Double Yellowtail Roll, which was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. All the ingredients were clearly top quality, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.

What made both visits even better was the welcoming atmosphere. The chef and staff were very friendly, and Mr. Tony, the owner, is such a warm and jolly person—his hospitality really added to the overall experience.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for fresh sushi, great service, and a cozy,...

Food: Seared Tuna Sashimi: 1 Star Very dry & bland; this was not seared at all.

Fresh water Eel: 3 Stars Just ok, too much sauce drizzled on it

Albacore Sushi: 4 Stars Good sized pieces & tastey.

Tempura Green Tea Ice Cream: 5 stars Perfectly fried tempura outer shell & perfectly cut up in slices. so much easier to eat than other places where they just give you a ball of green tea tempura ice cream 7 you have to dig your way through. This was the best dish of our meal.

Service: Very slow, they didn't even set up the table for us when we sat down & forgot to check up on up during the meal & messed up on calculating our check & forgot to bring out our dessert at the end too. -2

Decor: clean, typical sushi joint in LA.

Tip: All day 50% off deals here & only on house rolls & certain rolls that's listed...

Pandemic review - I updated from 3 to 4 Okay, so hubs and I have not been able to eat out as much and so we've been mostly ordering from here at least 2 times since my last review. Compared to the other sushi places around here, Sushi Eyaki is better priced with same or slightly better quality. I can't get enough of those salmon sashimi!! It's so fatty and so delicious!!! We have done pickup and delivery and it's pretty quick. Goodbye for now though as we'll be moving far away... Korean owned and operated sushi place. Very decent sushi and sashimi and fresh but not the highest quality sushi. It's an okay place to go when you are craving for some sushi but don't want to go far and pay a crazy amount of money. Staff was nice but seemed like they wanted us to hurry up and order and leave though.

This is the best sushi we've ever had. My wife and I were never into sushi, but we found this place my coincidence. The 1st week we came, we returned 3 more times... 4 times in one week! And for the past 8 months, we bring a different family every Sunday. We bring friends that dislike sushi or dislike raw fish foods. And they fall in love with this place. After coming here, any other sushi place we go to is bland. Everything here is so fresh! This is our place every week! Every sushi is expensive, obviously. But the sushi here are mostly 2 bite sized, and they give in abundance. Definitely worth the price! And the only sushi place where I get full.
