Royal Macaron — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I’m past due on making a review of this place. I discovered this macaron place several years ago, and it has always been my favorite of all the places I’ve been to. Macarons are one of my favorite desserts. Even after having been to Paris and having macarons there(unless I just hadn’t found the right bakery there), these macarons are still the best I have EVER had. The owner has always been very kind and knowledgeable, and gives us free samples every now and then. My friend(who also LOVES them) and I just so happened to be driving by there today and we just HAD to stop by and grab some. You really taste the love that goes into them. They REALLY know what they’re doing. I have been recommending this place to people for YEARS and will continue to do so! Anyone who has anything bad to say about this place is just salty, they KNOW what they are doing at this bakery. I have never had a bad macaron from here. Really delicious macaroons! I can’t believe how good they taste, you can tell the flavor without knowing! At first I thought it was kinda pricey but once we tried them, didn’t care, we might go again to refill our box. Customer service awesome as well, the owner/baker is really cool and friendly. The “Royal hazelnut” a must. There’s a hazelnut cake that we definitely will buy next time. I got two boxes, one was a gift and he even gave me a gift bag for it and a free macaroon in our other box!

Update: my boyfriend and I go at least once per month and every time we go, it’s keeps getting better! The owner/baker is such amazing and nice man, gives an excellent customer service and we always leave the store wanting to come back again! You must buy the Ferrero cake, it’s GF and so...

The Royal Macaron and the Lavender Macaron. I could see the quality in the desserts from the store window. The light purple crust was flaky but only when it needed to be. The doughy lavender and the filling,soothe the aches in my cold soul instantly. I regret not ordering their Earl Grey ones. The bits of lavender start the paradise in my mouth and make me want another before even the chew.
