I have been a loyalty customer at this location past 16 years!love everyone here including the loss prevention crews. They are very nice and very professional. I probably come here 3,4 times a week, spending approximate 80,100 $each time… because they have great clothes and friendly staffs! I always talk to employees and greeting from first step inside the store from the staffs. But today, I had experiencing a terrible customer service and feeling hurt by the cashier name Sarah. First of all, she demanded me to remove the hangers for her, following with an ordered me to bring my shopping basket in the front while she is still scanning and I have not paying the items yet!!! I found it very bossy, rude, harsh and unprofessional. After we finish , I started to walk towards the entrance ( still inside the store) suddenly Sarah rushing to me asking if I want to pay or pay my shirt ? I got very confused 🤔 and she repeated “do you want that sweater ? “ “Do you want to pay for the sweater “ while she was pointing at my sweater set I wore! Apparently, I bought a sweater set in brown color few days ago and forgot to remove the tag so Sarah was rushing decision and falsely accusing me of stealing the outfits instead of kindly asking if I need help to remove the tag hanging behind my back ….it is how to talk that make a huge difference especially inside a store could lead to unlawful statements you create to someone! It was hurting my feelings, embarrassing in front of people , deformation, accusing innocent customers for stealing with out any proofs. Luckily, two securities loss prevention confirmed that I came in wearing that set of outfits because I was chatting with them at the front door! They can review the front entrance camera but they chose not to because they knew Sarah was wrong. Plus I didn’t get an apology from her, she just walked away. I understand that Sarah tried to do her job but there is certain store policies, proper training and she failed. There must be a better way to approach or communicate with customers especially a situation like mine . I contacted Ross Cooporation and hope they will perform an internal interview for this incident.

I went into the store Saturday the 24th of August at 10pm since the store closes late on weekends. I first made a return with the cashier named “ Celeste” once my return was done she tried to keep my original receipt which I had to ask for it back. I paid no mind and assumed she probably forgot. I later continued to browse for other things. My problem was at check out time when the same cashier “Celeste” helped me again, this time I categorized my items since it was clothes and home goods. I first gave her my clothes to put in one bag and later the home goods to be put on another bag. My problem was when she put my first bag on the floor instead of handing it to me or simply putting it on the counter. Once she was putting my home goods in my second bag I told her “ that’s my bag “ in which she replied “ I know” that’s when I told her the bag was dirty and asked for another bag. She then grabs another bag and raises her voice and puts me to the side of counter and tells me “ you can do that here” expecting me to switch my things from one bag to another. That’s when I asked her who puts a customers bags on the floor? That’s simply rude and disrespectful. I told her I have white leather seats and at that point I was upset and she was too. Thats when she replies with “ you will be okay.” that’s when the real disrespect comes in. She first called me childish, then went ahead on calling me stupid and lastly called me “ autistic.” I went in expecting good customer service and received nothing but trash behavior from Celeste. It’s not like a person is able to tell who’s autistic or not based on looks. I been trying to get a hold of the store manager by calling every day and have not been able to speak with them. I will continue calling til someone picks up and I will try to get a hold of corporate. This is unacceptable in all levels. If management is seeing this go ahead and check your cameras to verify my statement. I will attach a picture of my receipt with the time of incident.

I love Ross. It's hit or miss on good finds though. This location is easy to park and navigate, but the selection is often limited. It's a smaller location. Staff is okay. None of the Los Angeles locations are super nice that Ive noticed. But not horrible. Just not the kind of store to expect great customer service. Often the lines are limited and they stopped doing self check out at this location. Fitting rooms are not usually crowded when I'm there at night. Sometimes some great selection of shoes, clothes, pet supplies and journals. Sometimes okay for home items. Great selection of pots at this location during the spring season! One of my favorite locations for quality and stylist pots at decent prices (compared to Marshall's a bit more hit or miss on inventory options, but better pricing). Nice handbags, but some are still overpriced (at most nearby Ross locations). Great bath, body and make-up options, but probably a better selection at the Venice, Culver City or Sepulveda locations.

This location is one of their best places. The inventory is is generally okay. Some visits they don’t have anything really eye catching (a lot of inventory but nothing special). Other times they have decent stuff. Staff and security are friendly and helpful.

The 2 only downside’s that I encountered here:

  1. Sometimes they only have 1-2 cashiers working during busy times which causes a 15-45 minute wait. There’s times when I put stuff back (and others too) because myself and others don’t have time to wait in line for that long.
  2. It is a older take and still happens even recently. Is that when there were limited capacity, social distancing, and mandatory masks, number of other shoppers didn’t follow the guidelines and the employees back then didn’t seem to care. They could see multiple violations but act like they didn’t see anything. I know that much of the mandates and regulations are gone but if you are in one of the few extremely narrow aisle many people will push past you to stand right on you. Would be great if they could tell certain shoppers to be patient and back off.

But anyways I genuinely have great...
