I have always been a big fan of Home Depot, as it is a great store with a wide range of products and good prices. However, I must say that the customer service at this particular location is extremely disappointing. The staff seems disinterested and unhelpful, which is a stark contrast to my previous experiences at other Home Depot stores. Furthermore, the lines at this location are ridiculously long. I've seen shorter lines at Disneyland, which is saying something. If you're in a hurry, this definitely isn't the spot to buy something quickly. Not only are the lines frustratingly long, but they also pose a safety hazard. With the tools they sell here, it's quite dangerous to have people bumping into each other constantly in the lines they have. Overall, while I still appreciate Home Depot as a store, the lack of customer service and the long lines at this particular location has left a sour taste in my mouth. I would advise avoiding this store if you're in need of prompt service or a hassle-free shopping experience.

Truck driver here, the store is gated. The store shipping and receiving gate on Roscoe is locked, you have to call a number for someone to come out, once you are there your 53” trailer is going to be blocking almost half of the Main Street while you wait for someone to open the locked gate. Extremely dangerous and irresponsible to put a truck driver thru that. Employees saw me honking and nobody had the audacity to even acknowledge my person. The worse part? The gate opens from the inside out, so you have to back into the Main Street while cars are going 55MPH, this is extremely upsetting and I will be sending a letter to corporate.

Home Depot is an American Icon. It's the American dream. Thank God I don't work here, I'm not a team player and would go absolutely nuts having some under educated college graduate idiot try to tell me how to stock shelves. But for some sheep in life that's all they want, to be told what to do, get paid for doing it, then spend that check emptying food shelves and buying scented toilet paper to wipe with. Or, if you can't deal with the team and maybe snuck into America when jack booted thugs weren't watching well then, Home Depot has a place for you too. In thier parking lot. Try to look hungry and don't forget to wear good boots.

The majority of the times I have gone to this store I have been met with unfriendly employees who have little to zero knowledge, experience or general customer service skills. That was partially different for me yesterday. I saw an employee, made eye contact with him, he saw me turned in the other direction and walked away. I kept following him and came upon him talking with other employees about a local restaurant that was good. I asked him about a specific item. He said, "that is in tools" I said I am in the tool isle and I still cannot find this. He said, "I don't know its in tools." I walked away frustrated. I then approached some employees working near paint and asked for help. One woman barelylooked at me and said, "I don't know" then finally Christopher Ramirez (millwork specialist) stepped up and walked over and helped us find this item. He proceeded to help us find many other items and even inspired us to purchase some other items. The last time I came to purchase some plumbing items a young man said to me, "I don't know I am just working here to pay for my school." While we understand finding good customer service, knowledgeable staff and corporate integrity is next to nowhere these days we still have the choice of spending our hard earned dollars at your store. Unfortunately it is convenient for us. If not for Christopher we would drive out of the way from now on. His work ethic exceeds his peers, from what we observed, and I hope in the pool of greed and corporate lack of integrity you will find it in your hearts to give him a raise, promotion and reward his work. Home Depot does not seem to care about regular customers anymore. Perhaps taking care of inept employees should not be a practice. How about rewarding the good ones and hiring people who need jobs who...

Tonight i had very bad experience at Home depot in Van Nuys, i went yesterday to buy 110 box of laminate vinyl flooring, the one we liked palmdale did not have but we find out that van nuys has so the manager in palmdale spoke with somebody in van nuys who confirm the price and availability so we drove from palmdale to van nuys 50 miles one way , we discuss with the manager to buy the whole 110 pallets for a certain price and agreed on the price and also i applied to a credit card so i can use it immediatly and got the credit card immediatly, so i went to the checkout and started to do the transaction and i was told the home depot credit card center are not answering the phone and they did not sell me the product although i told them i wanna purchase it with my other credit card but they say no since you cannot use non home depot card to get 100 discount so come back 2morrow, and today i went back another 50 miles one way but today they gave me run around different customer service people telling they dont have the item anymore until the manager stopped me and told me that they sold 15 box already so only left 95 , and asked if i want them , i told her yes , so i went with her to make a new invoice since the quantity has diminished and she gave me a new invoice to go and pay it at the check out. And realized that she increased the price of the box without telling me , then when i was about to pay i saw the higher price , but at this point i was on fire but i just wanted to get them and leave for the waste of driving time gas money and etcetera. Unfortunatly my extasy in the morning was premature, my personal experience with home depot is not even 1 star. Be aware of their snikiness , this is not my only experience in like manner. I still gonna call the home depot HQ and...

Unacceptable Abussive and violent Treatment at Home Depot 16800 Roscoe blvrd, Van NuysCA91406 I'm extremely disappointed and distressed after being falsely accused of stealing a drill at the Home Depot store in Van Nuys. On December 31 2024 I completed my purchase and exited the store, only to be confronted by three aggressive employees (LP Jacob, Kevin, and another unidentified individual).

Despite my protests, they detained me in a backroom, yelled at me, and confiscated my phone. The cashier's negligence had left the drill unscanned in my friend's car, but instead of apologizing, the staff chose to harass and intimidate me. I’m under stress since 31 December.

They took photos of me and my personal information without justification.also the security guard from his private phone took photos of my sensitive informations. I was humiliated and threatened, and my multiple requests to call the police were ignored .they kept me 1 hour , I explained to them I m a contractor I spend a ton of money at home depot never I had any problem but they ignore they discriminate because English is my second language . To make matters worse, a woman standing outside the door yelled at me, saying "Can he be quiet? His voice is annoying me. Can he stop? His voice is bothering me. I don’t like hearing him talk. Can he stop talking NOW?" Her unprofessional behavior added to the chaos. When I asked for her name, I was told "You don't need to know her name." It's appalling that Home Depot employees feel empowered to mistreat customers without accountability. If anyone has had a similar experience, please message me. I hope Home Depot takes immediate action to address these...
