Read moreTom Bradley International Terminal Arrivals. On my last trip to the USA, I arrived at this airport to start my journey to travel around some states.
This airport is so busy and crowded with people both in the arrival and departure terminal because most international commercial passengers arrive at or depart from either the Tom Bradley International Terminal or Terminal 2.
The immigration works well and fast but bit slow in the customs area, they randomly do checking but when you get a certain officer they will thoroughly check your baggage and if he thinks you need to continue the process you have to walk to another queuing line in different counter to declare your baggage and show them the inside of it. No problem actually for a random check but if you are in a hurry or your friend or family already waiting for you they will have to wait for a little while. If you need cash you can withdraw your money from ATM or visit ICE currencies exchange kiosk on the departure hall. For tourists who travel solo or in small groups, their many options to take transportation to the hotel.

Read moreIt has a nice aesthetic. Been through it twice, the first time was a breeze there was only like one flight coming in during that time so going through the line was a breeze! i think it only took 20 minutes max to leave the airport. But the second time was the worst experience of my life. Lines even for US citizens where extremely long, it seriously took me 2 hours from when the plane landed to exit the airport. And not only that, they misplaced our luggage. They said it was going to be at a certain belt and the ended up being on a completely other side so everyone on that flight was very confused and we had to hassle the people in charge to find out where all our luggage was. Customs agents take their precious time checking every little detail like they need to chill not every foreigner is a terrorist. And not every stand is filled with agents even at peak hours. When I go to Mexico there will be long lines, but they go pretty quick because the agents there are actually doing their job. All their booths are filled which makes it go way faster than here in the US. And I’m a foreigner there and they don’t make a big deal out of everything. Here they hassle me with questions like “where did you go” as if it doesn’t say on my paperwork “what did you do” etc etc ... as if I where a threat. I guess it can be a hit or miss depending on the time you arrive. Point is, going to other countries is less of a hassle than coming back...
