ZERO STARS – WORST HABIT BURGER EXPERIENCE EVER Location: Northridge, CA – Manager: Estefania
If I could leave zero stars, I would. This location isn’t just poorly run — it’s a complete disaster, thanks to one person: Estefania, the so-called “manager.”
She is rude, hostile, and bullies customers without hesitation. During our visit, she snapped at an elderly couple, rolled her eyes at a child, and walked away from a guest mid-sentence. We were part of a family group and felt unwelcome the moment we stepped in. When we politely asked for help with an incorrect order, she responded with sarcasm and flat-out refused to fix it. We left our food untouched and walked out.
Estefania does not belong in customer service — and definitely not in a leadership role.
What’s worse, her behavior isn’t new. Her name is repeatedly mentioned in other 1-star reviews. The store environment was toxic: staff looked defeated, afraid to speak up, clearly walking on eggshells. Even guests at nearby tables whispered about how they avoid this location because of “the same rude manager.” That says everything.
Estefania lies to avoid accountability, blocks complaints, and treats everyone — guests and employees alike — with open disrespect. And the way she carries herself? You’d think she believes no one will ever hold her accountable. Honestly, she might be right. Her behavior is so bold, so unchecked, it’s clear corporate either doesn’t know — or worse, doesn’t care.
To make things even clearer: After visiting The Habit on Winnetka Blvd, we saw the exact opposite. The service there was polite, professional, and welcoming. It felt like heaven in comparison. Meanwhile, the Habit on Reseda in Northridge — run by Estefania — is pure hell. If Winnetka is Habit at its best, then Northridge is Habit at its absolute worst.
You can honestly call Estefania the Devil of the Habit brand. Her actions are destroying customer trust and driving away good staff.
This location sits at a 3.3 Yelp rating — far lower than other Habit locations — and it’s not a coincidence. Estefania is the common denominator in nearly every negative review.
To Habit corporate: Every day you leave her in charge, you’re losing loyal customers and good employees. If this is a corporate location, she needs to be removed immediately. If it’s franchised, the license deserves a serious review.
Until then, we will never return — and we’ll make sure others know to stay far away from this disaster of a store.

Our family had one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had — not just at The Habit, but anywhere. We were harassed, disrespected, and humiliated by a woman who appeared to be the manager: a heavier-set Hispanic woman named Estefania. Her unprofessionalism and toxic attitude were on full display from the moment we arrived.
There was no greeting, no respect — just hostility and eye-rolling when we simply tried to place our order. When the order was incorrect, she refused to fix it, and instead responded with sarcasm, attitude, and visible contempt. It genuinely felt like our family was being targeted and singled out. No guest deserves to be treated this way.
It didn’t stop there. Other guests nearby were whispering about how they’ve had similar problems. It was clear that this isn’t a one-time issue — it’s a pattern. The staff looked demoralized, and it felt like everyone was walking on eggshells under Estefania’s management.
UPDATE:
After visiting several other Habit locations in California — including the Winnetka Blvd store, where we received excellent, kind service — the contrast was night and day. Northridge Habit is without question the worst location in California.
The problems go beyond just Estefania. Staff in the kitchen, especially the twin cook, were also visibly irritated and rude to guests. But Estefania is the core issue. Her lack of accountability, her bad attitude, and her total disregard for guest experience make her, hands down, the worst Habit manager we’ve ever encountered.
If there were an award for “Worst Manager of the Month — or even the year”, Estefania would win by a landslide. Her presence is a stain on your brand, and it’s shocking she’s still allowed to interact with paying customers.
Until Habit Grill corporate takes action, we’ll be warning others to stay far away from this store. This wasn’t just a bad meal — it was a hostile, demeaning experience, and we left feeling shaken and angry.

Which we weren't then we understood. The 2nd time we purchased a soda in a big cup and me and my brother got water cups to share it with our family since we barely paid for our meals. So Robbie walks in on me and my brother and said "I don't want to be the DRINK POLICE but everyone should buy their own drink!!" And yelled at us infornt of everyone as if we were crimnals sad really? So Robbie also said he rembered us in the Chasworth location and we did something related to this!" When cleary Iv'e never visited that location and I don't him! I believe he has a grudge against us out of no reason! And I believe since my dad purchased the drink he has every reason to do what he wants with it after all were the ones paying our food with our hard paying cash we earn to take our family to eat!! And by the way other people were doing the same thing what we were doing you know sharing the purchased drink in a small cup to share and he didn't at other people for just only our family! He couldn't stop watching us and staring at us which made it uncomfortable and since I was so mad me and my family couldn't eat because.
