Hard to believe that this is the first dedicated boba shop that's opened up at the USC Village! The area has needed a major facelift in the boba department and Yoboseyo holds its own to that regard. The shop operates both as a boba shop as well as a Korean snack store. Being on a college campus, they definitely had non-dairy milk options which made my heart happy. I ordered a Mango Matcha Latte with Oat Milk and Boba, and my drink came out great. You aren't able to adjust the sweetness level with the puree drinks but that's probably what made it taste so good. They're opened fairly late which is great if you need to stop by for higher quality boba in the area.

The tea here was better than I was expecting it to be — pretty standard roasted oolong with some fragrance. They’re super fast with making the drinks. I think it definitely serves the average college student population who loves caffeine and sugar, but I feel like as a result a lot of the items on the menu don’t speak to me. I would likely come here over pot of cha though since the tea doesn’t feel as overbrewed and it’s also marginally cheaper. Everything inside of the store is really cute though (albeit very expensive), and it’s a great place to hang out for just a little bit. Turns out they also sell 626 ice cream by the pint, just very expensive!

Food: the drink itself was pretty good. I got the usual brown sugar milk tea with Boba and got my standard experience, easily replicated in any other Boba shop. Service: The counter lady was so nice and attentive, even in such a short interaction. This truly brought the review out of 3-star territory and into 4-star territory. Atmosphere: It's incredibly-well set up. This shop is located inside the USC Village, so the bulk of its customers are, of course, college students. If you're into Korean snacks or Korean culture in general, this should be right up your alley.

Their stuff is expensive and it’s dumb you can’t change simple syrup with brown sugar syrup. A brown sugar milk tea should not be a hard ask or compromising to business. If anything it adds one more drink that people could order. Tiger Milk is there. House milk TEA is there. I just want the house milk tea sweetened with brown sugar. Simple. Only my students bring me here and no interest in coming back. I like the brown sugar boba itself which is the only thing different about this boba place. But not doing something simple is ridiculous and not costumer friendly. Yes I said it and I...
