I had the most wonderful experience at Sephora thanks to Luz! From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Luz went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed…she was patient, kind, and genuinely cared about helping me make the best choices. She guided me through color selections with such expertise and helped me find great options that were not only perfect for me but also within my budget.
What stood out most is that she was never pushy. Instead, she was supportive, honest, and encouraging, making me feel confident and cared for throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to find someone in retail who truly listens and wants the best for the customer, but Luz is that girl. Sephora is lucky to have her!

However, at this location, closest to USC an epicenter of cultures and people; the microagressions shown by the employees at this store no person deserves to experience.
Making people wait longer than others, offering some customers greetings while others get ignored are all ways these employees try to say our money was not welcomed.
In addition, they showed olfactory prejudice, often following us around the store and making sniffing sounds, to suggest we smelled.
It would behoove Sephora to offer Anti-Bias, Discrimination, and Sensitivity training to it’s employees. I fear they will be open to legal trouble hiring employees that openly discriminate...
