Albertsons Market — Local services in Los Lunas

The level of frustration with the bakery at Albertsons in Los Lunas is insane!

Sharing my frustration to hopefully help someone else not feel taken advantage of. In October I placed an order for a custom cake 6 days in advance (they require 24 hours) I show up on my pick up date and the ordered cake was a legitimate disaster! Truly looked like a toddler child did the writing on the cake. (See the pic below) They comp’d the cake and gave me an additional free one it was ugly and a bit embarrassing to take this cake to my event but at least I didn’t pay for it. I decided not to use them for cakes anymore because even though this is the worst cake they did, they have messed up at least 2 other cakes of mine before that. Fast forward to December 2nd I placed an order for some cookies for my kids bday, I go pick them up today and they say they “just received the order just now” …needless to say I’m livid! My kids party was at 1pm and I was late as it was. I ordered custom gourmet cookies and they offered cookies that were on the display floor. The employee was SUPER rude! On top of that. I get a manager and I get some non-custom cookies put together …mind you they cut up my cookies in little triangles 🤦🏻‍♀️ and they are comp’d again and I’m offered free ice cream. Sure, the free stuff is cool, but honestly I would rather just have my stuff done right and pay for what i ordered. 30 mins later I’m on my way with cookies I didn’t order. Save your time, energy and effort and don’t use this place! It’s been a bust everytime! ….hope this helps someone else not feel disrespected and like their business...

Started shopping here 6 yrs ago. Big selling point was the delicious sushi section! Prices are what you'd expect. The store is clean, organization can be a bit weird. Very small self checkout area (6 kiosks and one is always on the fritz) and my complaint about that is if you pay EBT you'd better have the right amount left on your card or it becomes a fiasco. Why can't the machine be like every other store and allow you to enter the amount your card has rather than reject your payment? My other complaint is while this store has a nice, impressive little section of FROZEN vegetarian options, their fresh vegetarian items section near the vegetables has taken a little nosedive in variety in selections. Cheese section is disappointing due to a billion shredded cheese options and a handful of small block cheeses. Shredded cheese is not the same as block cheeses--melts weird. This is a nice store though, clean, often a nice variety of flowers, a Starbucks, tons of bakery items and decent produce. This place is always kinda busy which begs the question, how about some more sale prices for your struggling consumers? Thank you for restocking LiteLife Vegan Crumbles! You're the only chain that carries this brand in Valencia County and I hope you keep it in stock from here on out. Glad to have an Albertsons somewhat nearby and kudos to the hard working,...

We love this store! Most of the employees are very nice. We have been going there for a long time. The store is bright, clean, and open. Prices, especially during sales, are good and competitive. We have used their delivery service and have done curbside pickup. Wonderful on both. No complaints. All the employees have been great for delivery and curbside. We would give 5 stars for this store, but, the past couple of times we've gone to the deli, the cooked food area in particular, the employees are not so wonderful. We were there the other day and an employee was cleaning something. She knew she had several customers, but she took her time, kept her back to us, no I'll be with you in a minute, no nothing until she was done. She didn't pay attention to the order as we had to repeat it, and acted like the people waiting to order were a nuisance. This has happened to us more than once. They also don't get more food ready when they see they are low. They sometimes wait until they are out, then they cook more. They should start cooking more food when they see they are getting low. Was told once we had to wait half hour for some of our order. Other than that particular department, the rest of the store is great and I recommend...
