When I went inside to collect my order (late December 2021, the website says they have curbside service and they don't) not a single employee was wearing a mask, despite the public health orders and the new more virulent COVID variant. While I was there I saw no less than five employees working a fairly packed indoor space without any sort of face covering and they're coming into contact with a lot of different people who can't wear masks because they're eating. So just know that everybody at Ribs handling your food is breathing whatever they have been exposed to onto your plate, and I can't say I was overly impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment either. I asked the cashier who was helping me if any of them ever wore masks, and she just shrugged and failed to respond to my query. I was especially disappointed when I saw that not even the kitchen staff -- and the kitchen is open to the restaurant without any sort of barrier -- were wearing masks either. If you're a person who is going through cancer treatment, has a compromised immune system, or cannot be vaccinated, or you are in regular contact with somebody who fits in any of those categories, just be forewarned this establishment does not seem to heed any of the COVID public health orders, and none of their staff seems concerned enough to take initiative on their own either. Insofar as the food was concerned, it was fine and prepared fairly promptly despite how busy they were, but I can say I won't be getting any further meals from that establishment given their complete lack of compliance with public...
Read moreThought the place was nice, the waitresses to attentive and also nice. Although when I went, we wanted to try something new. We had also gone by that place to play Pokemon Go whenever we had to run errands or wait on someone's phone to get processed nearby and ready. What was inside was much less interesting then what was outside. We didn't go to the bar but it looked good enough. It's a generally simple design with one theme, tractors. Like tons of small toy tractors or statues? Idk but it wasn't much to really look at, figure it a place for farmers. The deal breaker for us since I went with my girlfriend was the lack of favor profile. This is what I imagined what a friend of mine was like when it came to food, they enjoyed bland flavoring. We ended up leaving, the place reminds me of that one parody commerical where a couple was eating and when asked what they thought about it they said, "Bland! But there's plenty of it!" We ordered things that normally would taste well in our opinions. The mozzarella sticks were okay but still lacked seasoning, texture and cheese was fine but I don't like Ranch and that was unfortunate so that was unlucky. The place is too down home American for us and after that we probably won't consider returning. If you're into tractors and talking about football and having a beer this is the place, don't know if it ever gets lively we also didn't see many...
Read moreTo be brutally honest this place deserves a “0”. Started with being questioned with “are you really sure you were ahead of these people” to waiting just shy of an hour for the food to come…timed it…when the food came, it’s very obvious nobody knows how to use seasoning or even bbq…Order consisted of: meatloaf dinner with coleslaw (which is misspelled on their menu) and macaroni and cheese. The meatloaf had absolutely 0 flavor as if they just formed unseasoned ground beef and threw it in a pan to bake. The Coleslaw was disgusting and the macaroni was even more disgusting. The combo platter was ordered and well…to claim that it is bbq and smoked it just downright not right. The unseasoned brisket was limp, had absolutely no smoke ring and was part frozen in the center. The pulled pork was boiled and shredded…no flavor or seasoning…and the ribs…even worse. The bbq sauce tasted like it was fresh out of a bottle (not made fresh which is one of the most easiest and inexpensive things to do), the beans were reheated from a can and mashed potatoes were from a box that had been sitting in a warmer tray unstirred. The service was bad and constantly getting drink refills wrong.
I understand the use of food service products but honestly, to make fresh amazing coleslaw, bbq sauce, mashed potatoes, etc is very inexpensive with low costs.
Will not go back and will...
