We don't normally go to Penn station- not by choice but because the location near our house which says it closes at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings mysteriously has the doors locked by 7:45 p.m.
The first time this happened to us we approached the door and a woman came from behind the counter and aggressively walked up to the door that was locked and just stood there and stared at us. This last time that it happened we approached the door around 7:50pm and 6 or so customers were eating. The hours listed on the door said they closed at 9:00 p.m. and there was a second customer walking up along with us trying to get in, but to no surprise the door was locked. As we pulled away, two more customers approached the door and were turned away, still a whole hour before closing.
We tried calling the store phone number multiple times but no answer. I'm not usually a Karen about these sort of things but it is really irritating when you decide to make a trip to a restaurant based off of the hours of operation and more than one time get turned away. Again I normally don't make reviews like this but I think it's sort of unacceptable and if there is a member of management or corporate that could read this, maybe it'll help somebody else not waste their time and go somewhere that actually wants to serve their guests.
If you do close at 7:45 p.m. at least update the sticker on your actual door if you don't know how to change...

They were on the verge of burnt. Severely overcooked, and not"flashfried" like they used to be, where the middle was creamy and the outside has a nice crispy salty shell. We took our concerns to the counter and they recooked us a new order, and they were much better than the first. Then, yesterday I got the carryout with my son and his friend. Got home all the way to Lagrange, Ky., and the same thing. Overcooked French fries that were crunchy through and through, but nothing creamy about them, no golden color, but dark brown. Read moreFor the 2nd time, I ordered online and went to the store to pick up my food. Told the person at the counter, gave my name and took the receipt. I waited for 20 minutes and my order was never called out or was I told it's ready. Serveral times I looked directly at the person who gave me the receipt, only to watch him avoid eye contact and get very sheepish. Same thing with the one person making the orders. 3 people came in after me and got their food, and the employees are acting like I'm not standing there waiting on my order. I go to counter and ask if my order is ready and they start stuttering and looking around and ask me what the name was.
