Fiesta Time Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Louisville

I was so excited we were going to Fiesta Time, I had moved away for several years and had just returned. It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the place was practically empty. Our server didn't speak English, very frustrating. The menu had changed, and the prices were higher, but we managed to order and ate delicious warm chips and perfect salsa. I was so happy sipping my margaritas waiting for our food. But I was a little disappointed when the food came to the table. The portions were smaller than I remembered, no rice or beans came with our meals, and we did not order from the lunch menu! The quality of the food was not the same as before, the flavors that I remembered were not there. I was asked if everything was OK before I ever took a bite of my food and never saw our server again. We finally had to get someone to help us find our server for the check. I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I was sad about my favorite Mexican restaurant not being the same anymore. Been here many times and always found it one of the better Mex restaurants. Tonight was a totally different experience. Initially seated at a booth with no room and the table hitting us both in the chest. Moved to a slightly better table, but no had to deal with sewer like odors. Ordered two specialty meals and though mine was fine, the wife’s came out cool rather than hot, the cheese sauce watery, and after a couple of bites, noticed a large black hair. She’s blond so it was not hers. After summoning the waiter, he asked us what we wanted to do an did not remove the dish. We told him to take it and remove it from the check. No manager, no apology, no attempt to make it right. Also while trying to drink an expensive gold margarita, the fruit flies were so bad, we just left it. Second time using this location. As we stop by for lunch with multiple orders for co workers in the office. Fist time in had several online orders and had to place 2 in store. Must be a bit of language barrier as well as being called worrisome by the takeout guy. Lunch prices in store verse online ordering is different and when you go in to order they charge you more for everything ordered in store today was way over charged for steak rice only burrito and didn't receive my tortillas for fajitas🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏽‍♀️. No one stays at the check out so waited 8 minutes while my order was obviously sitting after being told not to take anything off the shelf untill someone was able to help me.
