After finding out that Colonel Harland Sanders of KFC fame was buried in this gorgeous cemetery, I knew I had to visit to pay my respects. Just like his popular image at KFC, it makes sense that his bust would be prominent at his gravesite. He and his wife, Claudia are both remembered here. His entire memorial is very classic with columns, foliage and a walkway from the road to his grave. Other family members, including his daughter and future sites are located just to the left of him here at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
