I absolutely love the food here at Qdoba I just have a major problem with their customer service and lack of organization and finger-pointing behaviors. My girlfriend was given 2 interviews 3 days apart from one another, the hiring manager named Marcus gave her the first interview, then she received a second interview from the store manager named Lindsey. Lindsey told my girlfriend to complete paperwork online before they could proceed with employment. There was problem with the online paperwork, it wouldn't allow her to proceed beyond one page, so we called the restaurant for three days (only once a day) and was promised a call back from Lindsey but never received on each day, on the fourth day we go into the restaurant after asking to speak with Lindsey (the store manager) the other manager at the time Mesha said she just left the store and is starting to feel like my girlfriend was harassing her. At this point I was just in awe. Then Mesha goes on to tell us shes quitting the next day and the job isn't worth it, they're very unorganized, she also said if a job has a store manager that will leave the store before taking care of an employee's problem then think about how its gonna be when they put her on the schedule. She also tells us that the reason she couldn't progress in her paperwork was because Lindsey had to give the "ok" in the commuter we weren't doing anything wrong it was on Lindsey's end. So on the fifth day (the day of this review) we call Qdoba again to ask to speak to Lindsey and her employees tell my girlfriend shes busy at the time, which we knew was a lie because we heard Lindsey in the background say "just tell em I'm busy right now". So we go into Qdoba and my girlfriend asks "is Lindsey here" in the calmest sweetest voice possible. Lindsey then proceeds for to yell "you have to get outta my store!" My girlfriend asks "why". And Lindsey calls her a liar then tells me she dates a "hood" boyfriend and she doesn't want that mess around her store. She then proceeds to call the police. Keep in mind there was no threat of violence or an emergency in any way, in fact all the yelling was coming from Lindsey and I believe the police can be used in a much better fashion. I assume she didn't realize I was the "hood" boyfriend she was talking about. Maybe she judged I was "hood" based on my appearance, maybe its because I'm a muscular black man with dreadlocks and tattoos but I'm also in the ultra program at the university of Louisville and JCTC majoring in software engineering. I couldn't believe I had my character show down right in front of me, if anything I'm the complete opposite of "hood" but that's neither here nor there. I then ask her if Angela is the district manager of this Qdoba (very politely by the way) she then says "I will absolutely not give you that information" what immediately came to mind was "If she has nothing to hide and shes doing her job fine, why wouldn't she let me talk to her or give me a way to contact her" now I understand it is possible that there's a rule written somewhere maybe stating she can't give out any of the district managers information, it just seemed a bit odd to me. She proceeds to call the police I tell her "we're sorry we'll leave" and that's the end of the story. I have never been treated so badly ever in my life at a Qdoba until today, I can firmly say I will not be coming back until they get more professional management staff. My experience here was...
Read moreMy adult son and I went to QDOBA last Saturday night, and we were planning to eat in. Now it was about 9:05 p.m. when we walked in. We approached the counter before anyone acknowledged that we were there. There were two people behind the counter dishing out the food and one at the register. They were not busy or friendly at all. When we would ask a question they would answer by a low mumble under their breath. You could not hear or even understand what they were saying. I asked, if they still give you chips with the bowl? When I finally understood what she told me the answer was... ask the lady at the register. So, when I went to the register I asked and I was told with a nasty tone of voice, "No you have to get the Nachos to get the chips! Okay, that's fine. Then, we were told that we could not eat in the dining area because it was closed! There were already a few people in the dining area sitting down eating. I then questioned about them closing st 11:00 p.m. She said, that is correct, but we close the dining area at 10:00 p.m. It wasn't even 9:30 p.m. yet!! The ground beef tasted like raw and cooked hamburger mixed together. The chicken tasted okay, but it was cold by the time that we got home and ate it. I wanted queso on top of my bowl, but never could get a straight answer about what kind of queso it was. I will not be returning for a long time! QDOBA use to be one of my favorite restaurants for a quick...
Read moreI gave this location another chance after a bad experience the last time I was there. Now I will never be back! I ordered a curbside order this time and once I arrived and let them know via the flyby app I was there, I waited 5 minutes watching them laugh and chat it up inside with no one standing in line. I decided to call inside and let them know thinking maybe they didn’t get the alert. A guy answered the phone and I let him know I was picking up a curbside and he hung up on me before I could finish and they all started laughing inside as I watched the whole thing. When the girl brought it out finally, I told her I didn’t appreciate that at all and she said they have a certain way they take phone calls. If that’s the way they are taught to handle phone calls, then that’s very disrespectful! I also couldn’t even eat my food due to all the lettuce on everything I ordered being old and wilted. Rice was extremely hard and my food was not hot at all. I’m very disappointed and I love Qdoba, but I won’t be back at all. These employees need better training & this location needs a visit from the health department soon! Also no one had masks on...
