A really great, walkable, corner type store. Stop here before the movies and load up on candy and a cold drink! Not a full on grocer, calling it a market is a good call. Has your essentials, all up charged 50-100%, but sometimes you can find some goods that aren’t totally overpriced. I am not going to share my shopping strategies for this place (what days to shop, etc.) though. Valu and Kroger are the two places I walk to, to buy stuff for late night recipes. So, I’m not going to blow up my own spot, so to speak, heh It’s possible to find good deals here though! Just be sure to sign up for their valumarket card, which is something I have yet to do, because the only way you can is by signing up at the front kiosk, and I am very embarrassed and shy when it comes to stuff like that, idk. This place ain’t Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s, that’s for sure, and the overall state of the store is very old. So, if that’s off-putting for you, or you only like to get the greatest deals, or you have a car and don’t like walking to the grocer, I suggest aldi 4 miles down! I love valumarket though. This place feels cozy, in a weirdly nostalgic way. I’ve had so many late night walks that end with a bag of .50c Fritos, and a $2 drink Sidenote- when did cold drinks start being $2 btw? I miss the days where you could get a cold drink anywhere for $1. The good old days! Also the workers are super nice! I really do need to get my card soon cause sometimes they have good members deals! Cute place I would miss it if it ever left.

Good local (yes I know it's not really local) grocery. Locals in the neighborhood can walk, bike, or stop on their way home and find an excellent selection of fresh fruit and veggies, and a little less impressive selection of other food items, though I not sure what they don't have that you might need. It's clean and well lit with a deli counter, fresh breads and pastries (assuming cuz I didn't actually get any). Store staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a less corporate experience. Parking is a non-issue because it is located in a small mall that has large lots front and back. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood or passing by and you have the time, even if you don't need anything in particular.

The employees were very nice, but the store was gross. This is officially the first review I've ever left and feel conpelled to because of how much mold was in the produce section. It was literally everywhere. The photo I took was just one of the worst spots.

Value Market is a hidden gem that’s quickly become one of my favorite places to shop! Its convenient location makes it easy to stop by, whether I’m running errands or on my way home. It’s in a great spot that’s accessible and well-maintained, which is always a plus.

One of the highlights of this store is the hot food section. The food is absolutely delicious and always fresh. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick lunch or want to grab something ready-made for dinner, you won’t be disappointed. The variety is impressive, and everything I’ve tried has been flavorful and satisfying.

The produce section is another standout feature. The fruits and vegetables are consistently fresh and of great quality. It’s clear they prioritize offering the best to their customers. Whether I’m picking up staples or looking for something specific, I can always count on their produce to be in excellent condition.

What really makes Value Market special is the overall shopping experience. The store is well-organized, the staff is friendly, and it has a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I truly love shopping at this location—it’s a place where you can find everything you need without any hassle. Highly recommend checking it out for your...
