I made the mistake of purchasing a Groupon for a shop in Colerain. They put in my remote start on my 2014 Accord so poorly that my car began sounding the car alarm once I tried to start it remotely. The shop told me it was not their issue and they wouldn't replace or fix the system. I took my car to Eric at Cincy Security and Sound and quickly realized how poorly of a job they really did. Wires we crossed and connected incorrectly. The programming was off and the harnising was poorly installed. Live cords were even dangling! Eric removed all of the old unit, restored the car to factory, tested it, and then installed his own from scratch. The precision steps he took ensured he was able to correct all the issues I had. He even installed an upgraded system. You can visually see the difference and the car has worked flawlessly for months now. If I would have left the old system in my car much longer the car would have either caught fire or ruined the computer system. I am so pleased with Eric and his team. Cincy Security and Sound is a top notch company. I recently had an upgraded radio/multimedia unit and a backup camera installed in my Jeep Wrangler. From the start Cody was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I explained to him generally what i was looking to do and he took me through all my different options including cost and timing. Based on his input I was able to quickly decide which setup I wanted. He drew up and estimate and we set up an appointment for them to do the work. It turned out the radio I wanted was no longer being produced and the new upgraded model of it was more expensive. Cody said that was their problem not mine and honored the original estimate. The installation was done quickly and VERY professionally. They even programed my new radio with all the preset stations that I had on my old radio!! Cody is very knowledgeable about the products he installs and is available afterwards if you encounter any issues. He walked me through a phone call and guided me on troubleshooting my remote starter he installed 8 months ago that wasn’t working. He came to the conclusion based on the steps we walked through over the phone that the issue was a weak car battery and not the starter, but also said if that turned out not to be the case to bring it in so he could find the issue .. I had it checked at the mechanic and Cody was correct about my battery , and probably saved me from being stranded somewhere since my vehicle wasn’t yet giving any other warnings of a bad battery.
