Excellent Food The beef Tacos are very good as the meat is very nicely seasoned and has a hint of that smokey adobo. Salsa they give you comes out with warm chips. You have to have the GRILL DIP; we had it with chicken and it was so good. It's like lightly seasoned cheese and chicken cooked in a cast-iron skillet finished of with a lil onion and tomato atop... comes with some delicious fresh tortillas and then they bring more chips for it. We did Combos to try a little bit of everything, BUT I had to try the the CHALUPA it's very good but like most places it's the same shell as a tostada with your protein choice, lettuce, tomatoes and generous dollop of guacamole. Most places differentiate a tostada by toppings now days because the only difference is usually how the shell is shaped under it... so it's no big deal unless you're really looking for that fresh masa shell instead of a tostada style shell. Either way it's a very good item. The burritos are great and seasoned well with a nice red sauce attop that is not thick and appears made by them. My big test for Mexican food places is this (rice and beans) alot of the time I go places and you taste that it's bland with a unfiltered city water taste that I hate. LA JAIBA HAS GREAT RICE AND REFRIED BEANS. The rice that nice stick together texture with vegetables in it and The Refried beans are so well seasoned and not super thick. So the beans moisten each spoonful of rice where they meet on the Plate and it is excellent. They have a great Chili Releno that us very tender and one of the best items we had. The enchilada is a solid item with good flavor lightly covered with sauce and cheese. They have a good Margherita too. They more importantly serve coke products "the beverage served in 70% of Mexicos restaurants" 🇲🇽 This place is small but has a nice sized patio too. The only draw back....guys during peak hours turn of the door chime as its...

This family owned & operated restaurant is hidden in a small corner shop of a quiet shopping center. Service was fast and friendly. From there, my wife and I had somewhat different experiences on our stop for lunch passing through town...
She said the bathroom had some maintenance issues with the sink, painters tape held electrical wires together, and many tiles were cracked. She ordered a cheese burrito which had no cheese, very little meat, and a half pound of lettuce. After 1/3 of the burrito she split it down the middle and pulled out the lettuce and ate the small amount of steak that was within.
I have what some might call a taco problem. I ordered 2 tacos asada, 2 carnitas, 2 chorizo. The carnitas were good. The asada was better. The chorizo was great. Most places my favorite is the asada and I'm often disappointed by the chorizo. One bite into my chorizo taco I put it down and tried the asada. I saved the chorizo for last because it was so flavorful and the perfect texture. Probably the best chorizo I've had in many, many moons.
So, take from us what you will. If you're looking for the 5-star pristine condition beefy serving size, maybe hit a chain. If you're craving a classic authentic taco with a Corona & lime to trick your mind into thinking you're back in a little cantina down south, this is your place.

Read moreVisited this small, family-owned restaurant on a friend's recommendation, and it didn't disappoint! Even on a Tuesday evening, the place was buzzing with dine-in customers and a steady stream of takeout orders.
The Good: Fantastic food, especially the tacos (the fish tacos are a must-try!) Generous portions for enchiladas and quesadillas Quick, attentive service Delicious hot sauces available (ask for them if you like it spicy) Ample free parking in the strip mall
Could Improve: Limited hard liquor options (mainly tequila available) Margaritas were strong but a bit too sweet Staff seemed slightly reluctant to answer questions or modify menu items
We tried the seafood quesadilla, chicken enchiladas, and mixed tacos. While everything was tasty, the tacos stole the show. The food tends to be on the milder side, so don't forget to request their excellent hot sauces.
Pro tip: The menu is extensive, so stick to it without requesting modifications for the best experience.
