We wanted to see Sky Fall on a Friday night. Not that many people were there for the 9:40 show, however, we got there a bit early since we finished up dinner quicker than expected. We saw people were going in to theater 1 for Ski Fall, so we followed, and were allowed to get in at the ticket collection podium. We soon found out that the previous movie just finished in that theater and the cleaning crew were still working to clean up the place. We were told to stay away, so we moved to the entrance hall. Few minutes later, a woman came and ordered out out, which we didn't know she meant all the way out of the theater area all together. We moved outside of theater 1, and she started to allow other people to enter, while standing in front of us, blocking us from re-entering. We were then told that we had to go stand in line, and re-enter the theater area. She was very rude and cold. We told her that it was unfair for us to go through the line again, since we were the first ones allowed to enter. She wouldn't listen, and when we insisted on our right to enter, she called the police to order us out...
We were just out to have a relaxing evening, after a long day of work, but never expected to be treated so poorly, and be insulted by someone who suppose to provide good customer service. After what we went through, it totally killed our mood, so we got our refund, and never bothered to see the movie. I seriously think that there was a racial factor in this. I am a petite Asian woman. I did not confront them with that, which I wish I did. The managers were protective of their employee. They only said sorry that the employee had poor judgement, but never offered any compensation in return.
No wonder people don't want to go to the theater for movies anymore. After this extremely unpleasant experience, I will never go back to this theater again.
If you want to have a pleasant movie experience, go somewhere else where people actually welcome you and treat you...
Read moreSince walking in the door, the ticket lady barked, "Where are your masks?!" Our masks? We haven't been made to wear one in some time. We asked if she had some. As to where she flung the box over at us.
My husband asked her (because it was Tuesday... Where starpass members normally paid 5$ PER family member in the past. Said we could only get TWO tickets at $6.00 and full admission price for rhe 3rd one of us...so it went up $1 EACH which was fine, but had to pay almost 10$ for 3rd....so used to be 15$ and we had to pay 12$ more then we have which being grandfathered in for almost 7 years so upsetting due to we haven't been to the movies in a few months because of work and Tues being a weekday so for our daughter who turned 8 yrs old a couple days before Xmas we planned to go to do something to get out the soonest we could.
One employee was welcoming...the youngest, sweetest, just all around helpful and kind at the concession stand. She helped us, with our order; popcorn and drink. She was not only polite and welcoming but even asked us if we were starpass members and took the number and was so patient while I looked for it! Thank you sweetie!
I wish we could have seen her name. She smiled was nice, professional, bright, helpful and patient.
The popcorn on the other hand (as we know is crazy expensive lol) but also, tasted burnt and got me so sick all night. Ive had a stomach ache about an HR after I had some and it still hasnt gone away at almost 6:30 am. So almost 12 hrs...so odd...
We will be back...its our movie place and we know although this time not everyone was what we have had in the past...we also know that the "P" has caused more rudeness plus keeping it real...we are more shocked all around when we are treated how customers have been for centuries rather then being shocked when we are not appreciated, treated like customers are what KEEPS BUSINESSES OPEN...
Lastly, sing 2 was TOTALLY WORTH ANY annoyances etc. If you haven't watched it...GO WATCH...
Read moreI love this Movie Theater! They upgraded it and it looks really nice! They always have a friendly helpful staff, and it's nice to go see a movie, eat popcorn, and have a drink during a movie as well!!!!
Typically I really enjoy this Movie 🍿🎥 Theater but Friday 09/16/23 I didn't have the best experience...
I had Worked a Long day Standing on my Feet all day and then Drove an Hour Home, had Dinner, and My Friend Picked me up and we went to see The Nun II which was a Really Good Movie...
At the Ticket Counter ~ the person didn't know anything about the Email I had received about a Free Movie Ticket for seeing 3 Movies this past summer and getting 1 Free... :(
And then I was going to order a drink, but it appeared the Bartender stepped away for a minute. And I dcided to get Popcorn First because people were working at the Concessions.
Then I went back to Order my Drink. The Bartender took the order and wasn't even making it like the older Bartender would have.
This Younger Bartender then said he was in Training and couldn't make the Drink with out a Manager. Then the Bartender was Consulting with the Manager and they said they didn't feel comfortable serving me because I looked as if I had been drinking prior, which I 100% had not, my friend was Driving, and I was Dead Sober.
And thinking about it, I felt judged And it wasn't a good experience. I do have minor hearing loss and a diagnosed speech impediment. My speech impediment can make it sound like I slur to people who don't know me, but I try not to let it affect me and I've never had a Bartender treat me that Rudely. I find it...
