Fire the building manager. Bulding state is unacceptable and unsanitary for any building but especially a Medical Facility. I am writing this review for Penn Internal and Family Medicine Bucks County, located at 777 Township Line Road, Yardley, PA 19067. While the medical staff are amazing and competent, the overall condition and cleanliness of this facility are deeply concerning and frankly, unacceptable for a medical building. The entire building appears to be poorly maintained. The stairwells, a common area for all patients, have a visibly dirty and worn carpet. Inside the clinic, the lack of hygiene is even more apparent. The floors and walls in the exam rooms are dirty, with scuff marks and grime. Most alarmingly, there is a massive, dark stain on the carpet in one of the office areas. This isn't just a minor scuff; it's a huge, very noticeable stain that raises serious questions about basic sanitation and professional upkeep. In addition to the visible filth, there are other maintenance issues that negatively impact the patient experience. The ceiling light in waiting area was flashing and strobing, which is extremely irritating and unprofessional for a healthcare environment. A medical facility is a place where cleanliness and a comfortable, professional atmosphere should be top priorities to ensure patient safety and well-being. The current state of this building, with its filthy stairs, dirty exam rooms, a large glaring stain, and a flickering light, falls far short of what any patient should expect. I urge the building and practice management to address these issues immediately. given the institution's financial status the state of things point to complete disregard towards the maintenance or housekeeping and maximizing the profitability. Penn Medicine, part of the University of Pennsylvania, is a non-profit with a staggering endowment of over $22 billion and an annual revenue exceeding $10 billion. They can clearly afford to maintain their facilities to a...
Read moreWow, where to start? Let me start by saying that every other practice or specialist I have ever been to with Penn Medicine has been great. Their lab and cardiology offices in the same building were great, so I am only speaking about their Internal and Family Medicine office.
This place is terrible. First, the receptionists. No one picks up the phone, you are on hold forever. I have been here numerous times and have NEVER ONCE seen any receptionist on the phone and it's not crowded, so you know they are leaving you on hold for no reason. They are also generally incredibly rude and clearly don't care about you or your care. Next, I have seen three different doctors at this office, changing each time because the last one was incompetent and finally gave up. The first didn't even examine me, we just talked about how sick I was and she prescribed something. One of the others was horribly rude and brusque, never returned calls, gave referrals or refilled Rxs, even for ones I had been on for over a decade because he "didn't like" the medication with no alternative given and no referral for a specialist.
I have had a lot of doctors over the years all over the US, and this is one of the worst, least professional practices I have ever been to. I will never...
Read moreI have been going to the Yardley location for many years ,and have been very pleased with the staff and doctors. However, this past week I accidentally cut my figure very badly and the next day I called the office to see if they could give me a tetanus shot. Six hours later they called me back and said if I needed stitches etc I should go to the emergency department at a hospital! I advised them that they had the story wrong and the only reason for calling was could they administer the shot and when could I get it as it was important to get the shot asap. (within 48 hours) They then advised me I could get an appointment 3 days latter! I pushed back couldn’t I come in sooner as it should only take a few minutes to administer the shot by a nurse. NOPE. So on the advice of a friend, I called the local CVS located in Morrisville and they said I could get the shot right away , no waiting no charge! So that’s what I did. Bottom line, very poor communication and listening skills by the office staff at Yardley...
