Penn Radiology Bucks County — Local services in Lower Makefield Township

I've used this radiology service 2 times in the past 3 years for CT urogram, The last time was 12/8/23. BOTH times I paid the $170 co-pay at check in time with my credit card. The very first thing you do when you arrive. I received printed payment receipts both times. Both times I have been double billed for the co-pay. Both times I contacted cust service, told them I already paid, and they should check their records. Both times I received responses acknowledging the payments and THEIR errors. 1. The double billing persistence, is annoying and a PITA to resolve.
2. I used this service because it's in the same building as my Penn Primary Care Physician. Penn Family Med, upstairs 2nd floor. I had been with them for 6 years and this office has become horrible at what they do. I recently discontinued my PCP at Penn Fam Med because he was a no-show at a pre-surgery appointment I had in 2022, resulting in me having to reschedule 2 surgeries. The last straw was, microscopic blood was detected in my urine, the reason for the 12/8/23 CT scan and I needed a PCP appointment. On 12/9/23 I tried to make a PCP appointment and the soonest my PRIMARY CARE doctor could see me is APRIL 2024!!! I was expected to wait 4 MONTHS for 5 minutes with my Penn PCP to discuss blood in my urine???? No thank you. The scheduling at this place is incredibly unreliable. I scheduled an appointment for a mammogram, took the day off from work, arrived, and there’s no record of an appointment. Trial number 2: I schedule the earliest appointment available, arrive and they have me in later than my scheduled appointment and never contacted me. (Second time I took off from work for this and no mammogram). Trial number 3:I discuss this with my physician and my scheduling challenges. Be aware of this place!!! I received a bill from them for the services that were not on a prescription from my primary doctor. After calling their office, they refuse to adjust the bill saying that I signed a financial responsibility form for provided services, however they never brought up during the vising that they would be performing procedures that were not prescribed by the primary doctor. It not only results in additional medical charges but it's scary that they added services without prior medical authorization!
