I recently visited Boscov’s at Colonial Park and was pleasantly surprised by both the variety and the value it offers. As one of the largest department stores in the area, Boscov’s stands out for its expansive selection and reasonably priced merchandise, making it an appealing option for shoppers looking to update their wardrobes without breaking the bank.
The clothing section at Boscov’s is impressive, catering to a wide range of styles and budgets. Whether you're looking for casual wear, work attire, or something more formal, there’s plenty to choose from. They carry well-known brands like Levi’s, Nike, and Calvin Klein, along with more budget-friendly options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. I found a great selection of women’s tops, dresses, and denim, all organized by style and size for easy browsing. The store also has a strong collection of activewear, making it a solid choice for fitness enthusiasts.
In terms of pricing, Boscov’s is quite competitive. Many items were on sale, and I noticed that they frequently offer promotions like “buy one, get one half off” or significant markdowns on clearance items. The discounts make it easy to score good deals without sacrificing quality. Plus, the store’s regular prices are fairly reasonable compared to other department stores in the area.
The layout of the store is spacious and easy to navigate, with helpful staff around to assist when needed. While it can get a bit crowded on weekends, the sheer size of the store means there’s always plenty of room to shop without feeling cramped.
Overall, Boscov’s at Colonial Park is a great destination for those looking for a variety of clothing at affordable prices. Whether you're after everyday essentials or a special outfit, you’re likely to find something that fits your...
Read moreI always loved this Boscovs. Remember the slogan "Did You Boscovs Today"? I used to rack up points for free gifts. Long gone however Boscovs is still a nice store for the seasoned shopper. Its clean, inviting, the clothes and brands are nice and made better than wallmart and similar ones. They also have other departments that sell very reasonably good quality items. I loved their candy counter. Used to buy homemade fudge in this very store! Christmas? They wrapped your purchases! It's more refined than going to wallmart. Its quiet. The checkouts are located in various spots throughout the store. It's not a line of 10+ checkouts with only 2 open. The sales ladies are polite and happy to help if you show an interest in actually wanting help. It's a store without 100's of people with carts, kids running and screaming with no real direction. Your clothing is not checked out with your meat or food contaminating your new clothes. They remain clean until you get home. Also they fold them! No rolling them up and "stuffing" everything into a bag. It's a real store! Lavish chandeliers and mirrored ceilings in some places. Nobody feels the need to spend money anymore on creating a stylish department store now. It's your sticknup cheap ceilings to hide the industrial steel beams that form the store. Yes people do not want this kind of store now. I however am grateful for all the experiences I've had thru many years. I remember how shopping was an experience to enjoy and not to get...
Read moreDecided to treat myself one day, so I went to the hair salon in Boscov’s. It was the biggest mistake. I asked for a trim and layered cut, styled like the Farrah Fawcett hair style. This person totally destroyed my cut and style. She barely trimmed my hair, but cut the right side much shorter than the left. Then instead of using a proper curling iron, she decided to use a flat iron, wrapping strands of hair around it, making it look like a horrendous block wave, then continued to plaster my hair with different products. By the end I looked like a dirty hobo who hadn’t washed or combed my hair for years. My hair was lumpy, plastered, stringing and noticeably cut short on the right side. She totally trashed and ruined my hair. I was so disappointed. To think she bragged how she’s been there for over 20 years and how she knows everybody. She’s more interested in gossip and spreading everybody’s business. If you dare to go there. Don’t share anything about yourself and watch her closely. As she seems to be jealously vindictive of women younger and more attractive than she is. I had to go elsewhere to get my hair recut, shoulder length, because that jealous witch chopped off the right side so...
