My mother, shopping as a guest for a wedding and who basically walks into places with a blank check, called on the phone to ask what clothes this place sold. Instead of the man having any efficacy in being able to describe what the store sold, my mother was told "if she shops at T.J. Maxx then this is probably not the place for her."
