Five Guys — Restaurant in Loyalsock Township

So, this is an update - a family member wanted to go to this place and I caved in. My opinion has not improved.

Two people in the place during lunch-hour. They shout out a friendly greeting - taking this from other more established places as a queue on how to develop customer connection. That's fine. The two people were polite, friendly, and well-spoken.

The CO$T of this place is outrageous. I mean, it's outrageous. One "little" burger (no fries), one regular burger with medium fries, one large drink, and a bottle of filtered water came to nearly $30.00. Thirty dollars. THIRTY........ Had the food been beyond description, I might not be irritated over this, but the burgers were loaded with salt and had no more going for them than an average Wendy's burger. Seriously. Absolutely nothing, nothing, no-thing special about the food, here.

"Hand cut" fries were generous, but still very, very, VERY expensive. I saw a group of 3 people whose lunches came to over $55.00. That is fifty-five.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand how this place remains in business charging what they do for what is served. It is mediocre, rote, and nothing out of the ordinary. That add-ons are "free" is no consolation. Just a loud, expensive place that I will never, EVER...

I waited to write this review for a couple of reasons. I really wanted to forget my experience and not fly off the handle but here we go. I wanted a great burger 🍔. I ordered with not many customers in the dining room, maybe four. I ordered burger fries and water. After placing my order I put water in my white cup provided me it came out of the machine brown. It got more clear after three more tries , but still light brown. I got a bottle of water which was fine. More people come in and order receiving their food before me. I know because you take a number when ordering. I walk to the counter and ask if there’s a problem with my order. The server hands it to me immediately and says im sorry. I sit down. At this time I’ve been there 45 minutes, for 1 burger and one fry. My burger 🍔 was very overcooked and crispy and without the barbecue sauce I ordered on it. I probably won’t eat there for a while. Maybe a staff...

A nice little fast food joint that offers a really nice meals for mostly fair prices. I won't say some prices are a little high for certian orders but your getting a filling meal for the $$$ you spend. They make fresh fries and their burgers are pretty big as well. They don't skip on the fries either.

Not a lot of wait time and you can just go in order and withing 15 minutes at most I seen/had was 20 minutes wait. Shakes are delicious as well. Over all they are pretty good compared to other chain fast food burger joints you see around.

Only thing is they do have peanuts floating around for customers to take so a heads up if you have a peanut allergy as to not touch/eat those.

Over all definitely worth the money and time for the food. If you looking for a place that's different from your regul6 burger places this place is for you! Did I mention they make...
