I do not recommend doing business with this location. Read my receipt in the photo. I ordered my list on a Sunday and was guaranteed a delivery of my items on the next day, Monday. I waited all day from 9am until 4 pm for delivery to my new home and never got confirmation for a delivery time. My items remained at the store, which I personally helped gather at the store. Despite my efforts to accommodate, the store never could provide a delivery time as I waited patiently at my new home for delivery until At 4 p.m. I waited all day and then was only offered 10% more off my discount without a confirmed delivery time. Save your time and go somewhere else. I was denied any more discounts for their mismanagement. They just blamed the delivery company for the delay of my delivery. I was willing to purchase a large amount yet was denied any other compensation to elevate the situation. I even offered to move the delivery date the following Wednesday to take a day off of work, which was met with no confidence in delivery. I then decided to end my business with this location due to the denial of any more assistance toward my situation. I just bought a new home and ordered multiple prices of furniture and was never told that my furniture may be delayed or not delivered on the following Monday. I will continue my complaint with corporate. Until then, I highly recommend not dealing with this location and doing business elsewhere. I was stuck waiting at my new home for 6 hours on Labor Day weekend. Do not come here expecting reliability on delivery or significant accommodation for their mistake. They didn't accommodate my situation or even accept an offer to accommodate future purchases, only a verbal promise. They need to change their policy and provide a written obligation to accommodate for future purchases due to their mismanagement, and not just pass blame to their own delivery service. Chris, the local manager, did his best, but overall, the manager in changed refused to accommodate...
Read moreWalked into the store this evening in hopes of find some much needed items for my apartment. As I walked in there are signs on most of the racks that indicate clearance items (red for 50% off and green for 75% off). I came across a butler table for $59.99 and a green marker thru the barcode and it had a green sticker on the underside of the table. I was so glad to have found it and was excited until I got to the register. It came up at regular price and even the check out last thought it was odd. She turned to ask a gentleman at the next register about it and told me that he could take 50% off but cannot do the 75% off. I showed him the tag and the sticker and stated it should be 75% and not 50%. He refused but said I was still getting a good deal to which I replied as yes but this is marked at 75% off and it matches all the signs in the store to back that up. Needless to say I did not purchase the item on principle but bought the other items. I am just not satisfied with the customer service interaction and have decided to return to tomorrow to return the other items purchased this evening. I seriously doubt I will go back but if I do I will definitely make sure they are going to sell a discounted item and the in store advertised discounted amount before I haul anything up to the register.
I wonder if I will the EXACT same reply from the owner on most of the...
Read moreI usually have good experiences here, but i usually don’t need help with an item. The employee that was “supposed” to help was running around like crazy and got hung up doing something else. Another employee in the area was walking around for a bit (i didn’t realize he was an employee at first, i didn’t see the logo on his shirt). He checked his phone. Shortly before he came back with a cart of stuff - at which point i knew he was an employee, a cart had appeared in the area. I didn’t notice it prior to that point when i asked him about a flat bad cart and saw it mid-sentance. I’ve never had an employee in a situation like that not bother to help. Shortly after i loaded the cabinet from the second shelf onto the cart, the employee that was “supposed” to get it came hurrying around and they had a short conversation as i looked for other items. I believe shortly around that time it was the cashier that also came to check and make sure it was taken care of. The employee who seemed very busy was also the one who took the call to help me load, he was clearly busy, but was there by the time i got my vehicle to the door. I didn’t see the employee with the cart do anything other than push the cart around while i looked at a few more items before heading to the checkout.
Of course it’s not At Home’s fault or the other employees, and maybe that gentleman was...
