Soggy Dog — Restaurant in Lubbock

My husband and I walked in for the first time and we were overwhelmed by a weird, strange feeling. There is no sign outside that says “entrance” or any indication that they were open, so we chanced it, walked in, and there were a few bartenders, a few people at the bar, and one lady on a laptop. EVERYONE turned around and looked at us, and then the couple at the bar shouted something, neither me or my husband understood what was said (thinking maybe they shouted something along the lines of “we’re not open yet for the day”) so we stopped in our tracks and I said “do what?”, they did not repeat themselves, they just all turned back around and started laughing.. including the bartenders. No one said, “hi, how are you?” Or anything of that nature. We sat down at a table for two and the waitress walked up with an AirPod in her ear… we ordered one drink (a $5 pint of Ultra I might add) and left. The place was a lot cleaner and brightened up, but the hospitality was not there and we did not...

This management knowingly employes thieves behind their bar!! When the only way to reach the thief is at their place of work because they went ghost knowing their actions were wrong, there is nothing else to do. I delivered a letter, and waited almost a month, whether it was received I was not even told. By the actions, I deem it was ignored so I visited again for attempt of resolution because the next step is a police report. I was rudely denied a civil conversation by and older white male management. He would not let me speak! Much need to control. $900 in family and personal valuable! No business should ever promote this behavior🤢Their drinks are a special kind of poison...

We stopped here because my oldest son wanted to try it out. My husband and I got the Soggy Dog. We both really enjoyed it. It was a good hot dog. The tea was not the freshest. Though, I could not hold that against them since they are a bar and grill. 😂. My youngest got the quesadillas. He really liked them. My oldest ordered the buffalo Mac and Cheese. The Mac and cheese was not bad. Though the chicken was kind of bland. We did not see any buffalo sauce anywhere. The service was good. It looks like a fun place to stop by and have some drinks.
