T.J. Maxx — Local services in Lubbock

I took my sister to return some items that didn't fit her. But the lady at the register was so rude to my sister. Not knowing that my sister is not in good health so she doesn't drive herself because of her vertigo. I couldn't see her name on her badge because it was turned! She was Hispanic just like us. I went to register 2 & my sister went to register 3. I got done paying for my items so I went to the register where my sister was at. My sister was asking the cashier questions & she never answered her. I wanted to get a manager right than but my sister didn't want to embarrass the lady behind the register. I give 2 stars because the workers are nice. But the restrooms are so nasty. Toilet paper on the floors and toilets looked like they haven’t been cleaned in a week. On top of that there isn’t ac in the store. Me and my husband was sweating my 1 yr old cheeks was getting red because how hot it was. They have small fans in front of the store for the employees. But that is ridiculous the ac needs to get fixed. I’m sure the employees get hot just working. We were uncomfortable we couldn’t shop because how hot it was. Tonight's venture into T.J. Maxx was met with much joy and satisfaction. Not only was the candle selection exquisite, leaving our noses in a wistful pumpkin spice bliss, we were greeted by a refreshing smile and a friendly "Good evening."
