I have been looking & looking for new furniture for basically my entire house. Iāve gotten online and looked at every place in Lubbock and was leaning towards a business that basically you could choose your stuff and two or three days later it would be delivered. That being said, I felt like the Furniture wasnāt the best quality, but that instant gratification was such a draw for me.
My mother took me to Miller Waldrop and told me to just give it a chance and look. Their showroom is absolutelty gorgeous! I assumed everything was too expensive and so it was more just looking and not touching. I can admit when Iām wrong...
A sales lady named Debra came and asked if she could help us and to my surprise I found several things that were the same price and even a little bit less than the basically IKEA (you know assembly required) type of furniture stores in town.
I ordered a beautiful chaise lounge and sofa that I got to choose my fabrics/color/texture for, less than the cost of the HomeGoods store sofa I had been looking at. I was allowed to choose as many swatches as I wanted and took them home for the weekend. The only downfall is, with it being a custom order, it will take a couple months to be built and shipped to me. And as hard as it was to leave empty-handed and be patient, I am absolutely thrilled with my decision. This furniture is well built, genuine wood, no particleboard ha ha, These two pieces will last me for as long as Iād like to keep them. Theyāre very well-made.
For anybody that is shopping for Furniture, I encourage you to go in and ask for Debra. She was very helpful, not pushy, so sweet and just a really down-to-earth lady that knows her stuff. I canāt wait to see my couches once they arrive.
I will post pictures of the ones that I ordered (minus the yellow fabric).š Iām more of a purple girl. Although, had they let me take the yellow ones home that day I probably wouldāve gone ahead and taken them, they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not the person to leave a bad review. We purchased over $3,000 of furniture from the Lubbock location in November of 2021. We paid extra for extended stain protection and cleaning. We were told if a stain happened, to not attempt to clean it in any way other than soak it up with a clean dry towel. We had an accident in February of 2022 leading to a stain. We have gone around and around trying to get someone to come out and clean our couch. A manager from Miller Waldrop was communicating with us up to a point, and now we canāt even get a call back after multiple attempts on our side of trying to reach them.
Long story short, if you purchase furniture from this place DO NOT get coaxed into purchasing the extended...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur first visit to Miller Waldrop was beyond our expectations for a furniture store. We were greeted right away by Makenzi with a bright smile and friendly personality. She surprised us with a beverage offer that happened to include our favorite⦠a Truly. She then let us explore the wide array of high quality pieces in the store. We had been struggling to find furniture with a modern edge in Lubbock and were pleasantly surprised to find some among the tasteful traditional pieces. Makenzi checked in on us periodically and answered all of our questions without being overbearing. We found a couple things we couldnāt live without and made out first purchase. But weāll be...
