As usual I go into the store to get my weekly cup of Menudo, 10:00 A.M. As I get near the soup station, there's an older gentleman emptying out the Menudo soup container. I go over to the deli counter to let one of the associates know that the Menudo is out, as I was waiting, a young fellow from the kitchen came out and took away the empty container, I smiled and let him know me and another gentlemen were waiting for Menudo, he smiled, did not respond and went to the back. He did not come back right away as expected and so I continue to wait, one of the deli workers asked what I am waiting for, and I let her know myself and another person were waiting for Menudo. She went to the back to check, came back and let us know it will be right out. It didn't. After waiting about seven minutes, I asked her just how long it will be, she went back again, she came back and said it will be 20 minutes, because it was not seasoned. Why didn't the guy let us know from the beginning the next serving was not ready? Poor management, and poor skills. These food items are prepared at night, I've worked at United. There's usually is another food item ready to go when another runs out. It's the little things in life. This store is convenient, but the management needs work. The young people are helpful, nice and ready to run things. The older freaks should stay home and wait for the knock at the door. Losers. ...
Read moreWhoever the self checkout lady is, she is rude. I go in regularly. I always use self checkout to avoid talking. I'm going through radiation therapy and my throat is raw and it hurts to talk. 1st time I ran into she hovered over. I get it theft is a thing. But standing a foot away and just watching is annoying to customer. Then another time she try to strike up a conversation. I try my best to be nice but I'm in pain and not in mood. Then today she just stares me down. Even the sacker that's there and likes to say hi to everyone. When I smile and wave at him that's enough for him. Why does this lady have to be so much more. People go through self checkout to avoid talking and hurry through. Some are for reasons like me or anxiety issues. I get trying to add customer service but this is too much. I'm probably going to start going down the street to HEB or even...
Read moreClean, nice place to grocery shop with a huge selection of pretty much anything you would need. Overall satisfaction with store and prices, a 5 star but staff from stocker I asked where to locate something that didn't have a clue where the item was to the non talkative almost rude young man checking me and young lady sacking groceries. Not a very personable lively group of folks! I asked that some items be placed in a paper bag and ended up with all items crammed into a few bags so badly crammed the $20 dessert dish I'd purchased for the Holidays was opened and spilled thought the bag and had to be thrown away and bags so heavy they all tore before I could get em to the door. I normally don't like giving bad reviews because times are hard enough & God Bless these people willing and trying to work, just a few places for...
