I totally forgot to take pictures, but the food was really good. I was leary by looking at the pictures, because I’m a fatty and I didn’t think it looked like a lot of food. The bowls are much bigger than they look, and depending on the toppings and other things you add, it’s a lot of food. I got the spicy fries for my base and Persian Kofta for the protein. I added grilled veggies and salad for the sides and a double serving of tzatziki sauce for the dip. Lavish bread also came with it. It was really good, especially the Persian Kofta (beef meatballs). I would probably leave the grilled veggies out next time because it seemed to kind of take over the other flavors. I think I might go with the orzo rice instead of the spicy fries, as they were spicier than i anticipated and also kind of overtook everything else. The lavish bread was good just on its own, but there is a tray with “extra” spices snd such, and I put olive oil and sumac on the bread and made it even better. My wife had the chicken Kofta (chicken and lamb meatballs. She didn’t realize there was lamb with the chicken and she does not like the flavor of lamb, so she didn’t like it. I thought it was ok, but liked the beef better. My daughter got the Falafel for her protein and really liked it. I kind of liked it, but something about it kind of turned me off. 🤷🏻♂️ They both got the orzo rice for the base, which I tried and it was really good. As part of your meal, you get free soft serve ice cream with a Turkish coffee syrup on top. That was to die for. I would pay for that just on its own. Overall a really...
Read moreToday, I visited the newly opened restaurant with my family for dinner; unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. We ordered a rice bowl with meat and a salad bowl with chicken, and what we received was far from satisfying. Upon receiving our dishes, it was evident that almost all the vegetables in both bowls were burnt. The charred appearance not only affected the taste but also raised concerns about the overall quality of the ingredients used. The meat, too, did not meet our expectations as it needed freshness. Aside from the disappointing food, we found the prices to be relatively high for the quality provided. It's disheartening when the cost does not align with the dining experience. Our initial excitement was also dampened as we struggled to find a clean table. It took us a few minutes to locate a suitable place to sit, different from the pleasant start we had hoped for. I sincerely hope that the management takes note of these concerns and works towards improving the quality of their dishes. I don't plan on returning as a customer, but I hope others may have a...
