I have visited this location just two times, and both times I had a TERRIBLE experience. I'm not sure why THIS location conducts business in a shocking comparison. I have used metro PCS for years, and have visited other locations and have had great experiences. I do understand these associates earn commission based wages, since I am also in sales and rely on selling as a major part of my salary. However the associates in this location do so in an unethical, unprofessional and OBVIOUS fashion. I went to this location thinking I couldn't possibly have an awful experience as the first, i was applaud once again. I went in with the full intention of purchasing a new phone. The male associate almost immediately assisted me, (of course) jumping at the chance to sell me a phone. Overall, my in-person encounter was pretty straight forward, without even very much dialogue. He suggested the protection plan right off the bat, for an additional $3/monthly. Initially I said ok, before realizing it was monthly and couldn't be paid for upfront, so I deciding against it. This was LITERALLY over a 30 second window. I also explained that i do not pay the bill, so I shouldnt add additoonal charges. He seemed to understand me, and both he and another associate even laughed a little at my joking manner of not having to pay the bill. I even went further to add that i would talk it over, and possibly consider it at a later date. My transaction lasted an another 15 minutes, easy. I had left the store when i received a text with the NEW changes to my account; an added fee of $3 monthly. I called this location directly, and the other associate answered. I briefly explained why i was calling. Without a SINGLE word, the phone was just passed to the man I dealt with. Again I explained, reiterating that i did NOT want the protection. He fumbled for a response then poorly attempted to deny my decision against it. I quoted our exact conversation, pointing out how I gave THREE ways I had obviously declined. Finally he admitted he did hear that, BUT followed it with "well you already paid for it, you might as well keep it". I firmly said AGAIN I was not interested and wanted it removed from my account. He claimed he was NOT able to, and that I could try the app, or by calling a customer service number. That was that.Goodbye. Although I'm not able to confirm that definitely, I find it very hard to believe he's not able to remove it himself, given where WOULD customers go to MAKE changes to their account? In fact, I have at another location. If he was able to add it, he should able to remove it. In the end, I was successful with a 2 minute call to customer service. I gave THAT person a great survey. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER visit this location ever ever again. I have confirmed this location is Sheisty, it breeds and cultivates slimy, lying, unprofessional, corrupt and RUDE associates. They have proven to not be in the best interest of their customers, and exhibit incredibly poor customer service skills. The funniest part is, when I was leaving the store, he mentioned giving him a 10 on the...
Read moreLumberton office has been terrible. I did not want a free phone with all the charges that it came with the phone, was very upset that he charged me $307 and I told him I could not afford that I had just paid my bills including the phone bill for the month would you charge me another monthly. Now I have to just shoot the 50.00 original charge made on May 4th. Another problem he has not had any receipt paper to give anybody a receipt of what their purchase was or an itemized bill. I was there on the 5th when this song went down, he said the paper would be on Thursday well it's not there yet today. And then he said come Friday we should have the papers I need to take a itemized Bill to get the itemized paper from the T-Mobile store so I can take it up to Bank of America and have those charges taking off my bill I'm back on my credit card at bank, I need the receipt to do that. So mean while my money is going to locked up until I get that receipt and take it to the bank to delete the $50 payment refunded before I got my new phone it was charged again. Read moreI went into the store, the rep was rude, disrespectful and looked unprofessional, like someone that just walked off the street. He was a dismissive, arrogant idiot. That looked like he hasent shaved, or had a haircut since the beginning of time, let alone take a bath or shower. When confronted with my situation, he was not helpful, after only having service with this company for 3 days. And seemed to boldly lie, in front of me. This metro store is the lowest of the gutter, selling bad service, broken phone, and unprofessional attitudes. I will certainly let everyone I know of my experience. They can stick that phone where the sun...
