Food Lion — Local services in Lumberton

I like shopping at Food Lion alot especially this one because it's always so clean and well maintained, they always have fresh fruits and Produce available. The employees are friendly and helpful. I also love the fact that they have stuff that other grocery stores don't and that instead of throwing away the food that's almost out of date they donate it to the needy and I LOVE that. They also have weekly sales that are worth stopping by for but the reason for four stars instead of five are the prices on items that aren't on sale. Food Lion's prices are alot higher than any of the other grocery stores in this town and that's the biggest reason that I don't do all my grocery shopping at Food Lion other than that you couldn't ask for a better...

I just had the GREATEST check-out experience ever! Katina Oxendine was the cashier. She was SO nice and SO helpful! I have NEVER had a cashier to take the time to ensure I had everything I needed. She also asked if I wanted to participate in the boxed food items for charity which I gladly did. On top of all of this friendly service, she allowed us to participate in the 10% discount because my son is an Army Veteran. Wow! This lady deserves a raise!! I will DEFINITELY be coming back to shop at this location and looking for her to be my cashier!...

High on prices, I just moved here and noticed what I buy keeps going up drastically. I found it to be weird. I've only been here for 2 months. Say I buy a certain milk bar for $7ea. and you use faithfully, a week later you go back and buy 2 at $7 each. Then 5 days later you go back and buy one more and now the price is $7.59 ea. So you like... Okay.. and get one.. then ...a week later you go back and the price is $8.79. then a week later it's $9.59 now it's $10.99 within 2 months...Same thing happened in another state. Wayyy to...
