Service is getting horrible. The past few times I've been to the Cook Out in Lumberton. I usually sit at the ordering speaker a minute or longer before they even acknowledge you're there. I waited 15 minutes AFTER I ORDERED to get my food a few nights ago. Tonight the inside Lane serviced 3 vehicles while I waited 9 minutes for a burger and fries. Then the fries tasted like they had been cooked, got cold then dropped back in the greàse. Poor management, sorry service and the quality of food is sad compared to what this place was when they first opened. 2/09/2022 Order 2 Burger Trays and paid $17 and change. What has happened to your great service and decent prices you once boasted about (which was true at one time). But not any more. Beverage were supposed to be included with a TRAY Entree, 2 sides and beverage around $4 to $5. I was charged $2.19 for each Beverages. I could have gotten a Buffet at Golden Corral for these prices. Take a look at the burger I got with the bacon BURNT. For the price I paid I at least should be able to expect food prepared correctly. Very disappointed NOT even one star, but if you don't mark the one then people just think you didn't rate them.

It was ok. Good taste but my combo was a tiny burger. Double meat and cheese. I asked for onion rings and the second side was a corn dog. Burger and the corndog tasted great. But the onion rings were disappointing, and I only got 5 rings for a side. The line was long at the window but the guy taking orders was nice enough. The drive though on the other hand was terrible. Cars wrapped around the building and every bit of a 30 min wait. Was worth going though. I will return.

It’s my first time here. Paid almost 6 bucks for a bbq burguer. The meat was burned out. The overall presentation of the burguer was overall disappointing. For the price, really kinda makes you mad. Service was quick which was good, but it was still bad by the couple people who took my order and took my payment. A lot to work on and customer service is for sure one of those things… but yeah, the burguer too small. Wouldn’t waste my time here anymore.

Do not pull into a Cook Out drive through unless you are committed to getting your order or waiting until you can get to the end to leave. I would prefer to give this place 3.5 ⭐ because it's more than just okay and I do like it, but it does have its flaws.

Those that are familiar with this place already know what I will say so this is for those who have yet to have the pleasure.

This is purely a drive through location so that means no dine-in, and no parking. You basically drive through, order and receive your food, then get out. I don't know if all Cook out locations are this way, but it was the case for every one I have been to. The drive through wraps around the building in typical fashion but eventually separates into 2 lines to allow for double the ordering action. This is of course to split up the traffic and allow for the customers to move through quicker, but this place is so popular that it's a guarantee you might still have to wait a little while before you get your food.

As mentioned earlier you have to be committed if you decide to pull in here because once you do there is no way to get out of line if you, let's say, change your mind or get a call for an emergency. Once you pull in you're locked in until the end. If you desperately need to get out of line for any reason you might have to utilize a more unconventional method (like driving up on a curb and through some grass, or maybe over a bush).

The menu borders on overwhelming to a degree but the amount of choices they have are so mouth watering that no matter what you decide to go with you'll probably like it, especially the milkshakes which I am a huge fan of. I also enjoy the burgers and the amount of offerings they have to add on to the burger so I can customize it like a Subway sandwich. They of course do more than just burgers and shakes though.

The food isn't overly greasy or messy, and it might be more on the expensive side compared to a Burger King or McDonald's.

Since you can't walk in the building that also means there are no bathrooms for the customers to use. Therefore we don't know how clean the employees are keeping them, or if the employees are even washing their hands 🤔😅. Either way the food is good and that's what...

The best milkshakes I have ever had. I recommend the blueberry milkshake as the all time favorite. My son loves the banana shake. The chicken strips are not too bad for drive thru chicken and the cheese curds are bomb! My husband and son love the burgers as well.

Only reason I scored lower on the service and was that we waited in line forever at the ordering kiosk and the lady asked us a question about my son‘s order. We answered her and then never heard back. We waited like five minutes continually asking if she was there and she never answered so we pulled up figuring we can go over the order there and she assured us that she got the full order which was weird because why didn’t she answer us back and then when we went to check out with her she had only had mine and my husband‘s order and not my son so we had to give her the order again and then she wanted us to go get back into line to pick up his order so that she could keep the line moving and we’re like OK this is already a madhouse. We are not getting back in line so this was your mistake so fix itwhich she ultimately did but it was...
