Everything is 20-30 cents higher than the Walmart 5 miles away, this is 100% a scam, to target the old and poor. Do not shop here, ex moonpie on sale .69, Walmart normal price .38. The store brand ceral, 2.40, the name brand cheerios are 6.80, at Walmart and Publix 4 dollars. The tuna packets there were also $1.79, but the issue is the ones at Walmart are being sold for a dollar. This is the worse, most agregous case of price gouging. In the middle of a food desert. It definitely seems like they are intentionally pushing their own store brands over that of any other brands by raising the prices on the name brands and lowering the prices on the store brands so it looks like the better option is definitely to get that while they are...

People were friendly and not much wrong with the place.

Very expensive, and feels old, like a 90's store, like Bilo, Ingles and the like. Didn't seem much changed since. Not sure if it is the lighting, maybe yellow or not enough lightened, the shelves that goes way up (and am tall) and feel old/ yelloish, some of the packaging of the produces they sell, the flooring or a combination of everything... Just feels old and dusty, and I am sure it wasn't dusty.

They could take some hints from Lidl for the layout/design, hint from Aldi for the prices and make it look like it belong to the 2020's.

Not sure it will last long if an Aldi or Lidl set up shop near it.

Stopped in to get something and saw cereal with a sale tag of 2/$4.00. I got a box, got to the register, it rang up as $4.99. I asked if I had to get two to get the sale. The cashier had someone do a price check. the girl came back and said it was $4.99. I walked down the cereal aisle with her and showed her where it was and the sign that said 2/$4.00. she peeled the sign back and said that it was for a different cereal.
