American Eagle — Local services in Lynchburg

I’ve bought things at this River Rigde Mall American Eagle before but I won’t anymore..I was called a creep! On the last visit, I was browsing and noticed 2 little blonde girls. A 5-year-old and 6-year-old. One was carrying a teddy bear. I spoke to them and complimented their bright, cute clothes. I also complimented the teddy and started talking to the two about stuffed animals. We probably conversed for 20 minutes about stuffed animals, dolls and other things. Their mother, who had been standing there the whole time smiling, finally said they needed to go. The girls gave me hugs and kissed me on both sides of my cheeks. The mother said bye and told me have a great day, with a huge smile on her face! As I was continuing to browse, I heard three customers and an employee discussing me. They were saying “does he really think those little girls understand?” “He’s creepy” and “He’s alone in a mall talking to little girls” I was planning on buying something but after I heard that, I walked right out. I see a previous review about the prices. Totally agree with this! ALWAYS check the website before purchasing. I had to go back to the store THREE times! Once to shop, 2nd time I was able to make a return, the 1st time around they didn’t tell me I needed to have the items I’m keeping in hand to get the price adjustment. Also, I tried emailing the AE stores e-mail address, the online email, + the CEO, Jay Schottenstein, but received no response from anyone. Clearly not even the CEO cares about timely responses or an issue happening within the company. I only added him to the email thread after 3x of attempting to reach out since 2/22. The store is a rip off! I bought 2 sweaters there for 34.99 i looked online later that same day and they were 19.99 i used the chat price match feature on their website 2 days later they said they refused to price match the same items they sell for a lower price online i called and they still refused saying that I had to go to the store. I drove 30 minutes to the store with my receipt and they still refused the price match. I will never shop in that...
