This is not the first time I’ve been here, and I’ve ordered almost every item on the menu over the course of multiple orders and a couple of weeks…
Here’s my review regarding my latest experience and a summary of my experiences in total.
I picked up my food on the way to the airport, so it was about 15 min before I could dig in, but the food was still hot, or in the case of my sushi rolls, they were still cold. Super delicious, beautiful layout; was very satisfied with the service very friendly staff. I will continue returning as a faithful customer for years to come.
I know some of the reviews are saying things about lack of flavor or it was cold, and I’d like to say they are more than willing to refresh your dish and even make it fresh sometimes. I’ve never had an order that was not full of flavor, making you pause and want to savor it.
As far as being overpriced, I’m actually amazed by how cheap it is at 12-16 pieces of meat and around 2-3 cups of white/fried rice or Lo Mein, only costing $8.99 and an extra portion of either extra protein, rice or lo Mein for $3.50 or less… so very affordable. If you’re on a date or up for sharing, you not only can provide an opportunity for sweet moments but also save a few bucks here and there.

We both got general tso chicken which included 4-5 chicken bites that were cold a long with dried out white rice and lo mein noodles that had very little flavor, the chicken also tasted like it had been sitting out for way too long. OH! And don’t even get me started on the size of portions they gave us.. put it like this, I am not a fan of yamazato but I definitely could’ve gone there and got twice the portions and better food flavors for cheaper prices. Read moreGot the two item combo with lo-mein. The girl fixing the plate had an asian guy beside here and she was scared to scoop out the food and would look at him constantly to make sure she didn’t over portion the beef an broccoli. By the way if this is one of your two items it cost extra. The general tsochicken had a slight hint of flavor but not much. The lo-mein was low in flavor, and tasted like just wet noodles. The beef and broccoli had no sauce on it, and it was literally sautéed beef, broccoli, and a few onion slivers. The best part was the Dr.Pepper...
