The Health Nut is an excellent resource for those keenly interested in their health. You can get just about any natural herb or essential oil you can think of here, and at great prices too. I’d make a stop here for my kitchen herbs, teas, raw honey, milk and grains before I go to the grocery store any day. (Honestly feels like you’re foraging for berries in there and it’s so whimsical.) The people working in the store also are truly knowledgeable about the products they sell, or at least everyone I’ve talked to at checkout throughout multiple visits. They also have a wonderful little cafe, Millie’s, in the store. A delightful little place for vegans and GF individuals to sit and enjoy a meal — but it’s so good that even if you don’t fall into those categories, you’d still have a great time. One of the reasons I have continued to stay in Lynchburg as a traveling healthcare professional is Health Nut Nutrition. They are a treasure waiting to be discovered. They have all the health-conscious products I need and more! I buy my delicious, low-sodium bagels here every week and fill up on alkaline water via their reverse osmosis water machine. I buy herbs and supplements as well from time to time. There’s a naturopathic vibe that flows peacefully throughout the store. Their staff are extremely friendly and charismatic too! Emma, Allan, and Maria have such beautiful souls. They always make me feel so welcome. There’s something for everyone at Health Nut Nutrition. I love Health Nut and will continue to support them! I used to go there back when they were in their old location and was so happy that they were able to expand to the place they are in currently. They have a wonderful selection of healthy and delicious food, looooads of vitamins and supplements plus natural remedies, and wonderful natural beauty/skincare selection.
