I have shopped at this store for several years and loved it (from Philanthropy to now this name). But, how I have been treated lately by the manager will make me never return until a change is made in management. This store claims to be a Christian store with its mission and values and chapel in the store, but it is quite ironic considering how the manager has treated its customers. The past several times I have been I have felt nothing but judgement and criticism. From the moment I step into their store their body language screams “I don’t care” and their tone confirms it. From not being welcomed, to snarky whispered comments to her co-worker about me, to the second I walk in they go and hide in some back room or somewhere to avoid having to help me, avoiding checking me out and grabbing another worker to do it instead. It is such a shame to have this person represent this store. All the other workers have been kind to me, but this behavior from not only an employee but a manager should not...
Read moreWhile we're pretty private about our own spiritual preferences, we really love the clothing here and the ladies have always been so kind to us. We moved from a city where people did actively treat us poorly. I have tattoos and piercings and may not be the "ideal" body type, but I never feel like I've been judged. I really, deeply appreciate that. I worried that we may not be accepted in this establishment the first time we visited, but we've since become loyal customers and come at least twice a month now that we live here (on payday lol).
Anyway!
It's a great boutique with beautiful fashion. Nothing I've gotten has felt poorly made and fits well. Im short and curvy, so I have a really hard time finding things that make me feel confident, especially in jeans. The Dear John line they carry has been a lifesaver, though. I haven't happily put on a pair of jeans since my weight gain until trying theirs and I'd absolutely...
Read moreI refuse to go into this store because of how they treat people. The way that you dress determines what kind of service you will receive. It seems as if they have a picture perfect customer in their mind and if you don’t fit into that box, they ignore you. Not only do they ignore you, they whisper to each other and look over at you smirking while you try to shop. There are other boutiques and stores in the mall that would love your business and don’t treat you this way. If you’re looking to shop here, and don’t dress like the employees working, be prepared to be laughed at and ignored. I’m not sure how a place like this stays open. The name change did nothing - the same people with the same attitudes are still the ones working. I’d suggest taking your time and...
