I am SO HAPPY. I saw Vanessa. She is AMAZING. She’s very detailed oriented. She made sure she wasn’t hurting me many times. She was worried about being slow and I thanked her because she was. She makes sure every single detail is right. They are PERFECT. She did the dip powder right, great structure, perfect shape, perfect gel polish, perfect design and is so friendly. Everything. And for less than anywhere else I have been that has done it absolutely horribly(she pried the old ones off, they were all lifting from the base one immediately after and the rest after about a week, were awfully shaped, crooked, she made me bleed and ripped my skin, did the dip powder wrong forming it to my nail instead of taking the time to do it right which is to dip the nails in the powder layer by layer causing the lifting, they were too flimsy and kept bending backwards causing them to break one of my nails in half and they hurt so bad that I had to take them off while sobbing because my fingers felt like they were slammed in a door after) at the last place I went unfortunately. It’s crazy. Vanessa only charged me $50. The other places were 80 something for an awful job. I gave this woman a $20 tip, man. I wanna cry because I appreciate her so much for taking the time to do my nails right and to be gentle making sure she didn’t hurt me. Thank you,...
Read moreIt has been about a year, but I feel inclined to make this post. I’ve been getting my nails done with acrylics for 10 years before this incident, frequently. I’ve had my actual nail cut by an electric buffer before, and the work they did was beautiful, so I obviously did not complain. A couple days after getting my nails done here for the second time, my nail bed was cut by the buffer, and I thought nothing of it because it has happened before. My my finger started swelling the day after. A week later, I surgically had to have it repaired or I could have lost my finger according to the doctor. I work in medical now, and feel the need to share this experience as I would never want someone to go through the pain and money I had to just to save my finger. The equipment is not clean. My nails were beautiful, but that’s not fair to others to not share the risk, and what happened to me going here specifically. The last photo is after my procedure, which I edited to hide the incision to remove the infection. The nail on the infected finger is broken due to me trying to pry it off once I started noticing...
Read moreI never leave bad reviews but this was such a bad experience. I’ve gone to Natural Nails in Callaway many times and Emily always does a great job, so I thought the staff in Lynn haven would be good as well. I paid $125 for a basic pedicure and basic full set. The price was not what was advertised on the price list in the salon or online. I felt that they rushed through both when there was only myself and one other customer in the salon. The lady doing my pedicure dug around in my cuticle, hurt me and caused my toe to bleed and swell. My nails look awful. No nail prep was done, cuticles were not pushed back, nothing. The acrylic was done messily and polish wasn’t taken up to the cuticle so I left with a fresh set looking like I needed a fill-in already. My nails were crooked and not equal in length and shape. The day after getting them done, I broke a nail while tying my shoe and woke up to another nail broken off in my sleep. Just a few days out from my appointment, I’ve already had to pay someone else to soak them off and redo them. I have attached photos of what I wanted vs what I got, and the...
